I've been all around the net trying to find the right answer and no one's got the same specs as me.

I figured I join a forum and just ask straight up already.

My specs are:

Windows 7 64 bit

Processor- Intel Core i3 CPU M350@ 2.2GHz 2.27GHz

Graphics card- Intel HD graphics

Screen size is 1366x768

I apologize if I put this in the wrong place (always takes me a while to get used to forums)

Thank you in advance.

Been a bit of a long time, might be appropriate for a slight bump.

No lol. A day and you're tilted? That's not patient.

Anyway, your system is good. Just use the default settings and if you have any specific problems then you'll def get some help.

No one is answering because there is no real issue or way a person could answer this without a lot of effort.

Read some of the configuration sticky threads.

~That should answer everything you need.

Thank you.

Sorry, it was a long day for me.

My real problem is when I try to use the latest and greatest of Pete's plugins (GL2 or something like that) I get a weird error so I downgraded a bit and the game I was playing (MM8) looked like crap. Mega Man's head went in and out while he blinked for crying out loud!

The OpenGL2 plugin doesn't work on Intel IGPs. The "regular" OpenGL plugin does, obviously.

You need to post your video plugin settings.

Alright boss.

I got Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.77 running now.

When I use D3D Driver 1.77 everything looks exactly the same.

the majority of the time the "nice" preset in the config menu will work fine.

I've been using "nice" the whole time. Is there a better "regular one out there?

You can try the P.E.Op.S. "Soft" GPU. It's not as "pretty" as the other plugins, but it certainly gets the job done a lot more easily.

No, you see I have it running and it plays smooth and everything (completely irrelevant but sounds great too) but the games don't look right.

I haven't tried a 3-D game yet but the ones I am playing use sprites and the sprites look horrendous, and I own the real games and they never look that bad.

The P.E.Op.S. "Soft" GPU is entirely recommended for 2D games.

Use that or try another emulator like psx (http://forums.ngemu.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=85).

Wish I knew that before I posted.

Thank you, you've been very helpful.

EDIT:Last things, where can I find the latest version that will work with Intel IGP? (for the future when I buy some 3-D games)

And where can I find the latest P.E.Op.S. "Soft" GPU?

Yeah, they really did.

It's just that old tv's combined with the PS1's low resolution blurred a lot of the uglyness.

That's very interesting, you're telling me Mega Man 8, X4,X5 and X6 really look that horrible?!

How did they make it look WORSE then the the games I've tried emulating for SNES and GBA?

I mean really, Mega Man and Bass used the same sprites as Mega Man 8!
