I am having trouble extracting this Simpsons road rage game for Gamecube. I tried using Winrar but that not do anything. It did not even extract correctly. It just said that the file was in unknown format and it was damaged. Then I tried using 7-Zip to extract, but this did not work either. So please let me know how to extract this file please with no pronlem so that it works just fine. Because I wish I knew on how to fix it so it would work. Oh well. So please help me out. So get back to me soon. Thank you very much!:D

Well first off you should always rip your own games and not pirate others. You better hope you actually own Simpson's Road Rage or you might find this thread closed pretty quick. Not to mention way the wrong area, try software discussion?
In any case if Winrar told you the file is damaged, then it's damaged. You sure it's even a .rar extension?

Wait isn't gamecube DVD *.ISOs nonstandard (like Xbox)?

Well besides the piracy warning.....
As far as I know, the GameCube ISOs are generally nonstandard ISO's and Windows based PC's will be confused on how to read it.
Get the latest version of WinRAR.

You could do so with Dolphin emulator or GC Tool.

Or the ever so awesome Daemon Tools.

Or the ever so awesome Daemon Tools.
I don't think the guy wants to mount them, he wants to get some files from GCM files. Plus, Daemon Tools doesn't mount .GCM files or can read them.

Emuforums doesn't support piracy. Surprised the thread hasn't been locked yet.

Ahh I see/didn't know that. I haven't tried to mount any GC games, my pc can't quite handle Dolphin. :/

Thanks for yet another helpful post. Surprised you didn't realise two of us already mentioned that.

"Doesn't support piracy" means no support for assisting pirates.
In other words, this thread shouldn't be posted in. There should be no helpful post in this thread.

Meh, that's not an actual violation. I was more helping with the technical aspect than the pirating aspect.

Any assistance involving pc files is always technical.

^So lets see Den... according to you he ripped his game properly but has forgotten completely which archiver he used or if he even did it all nor what format his files are, indeed that makes sense i can see the light now (and its overrated :( ).

Yes. Indeed, thats what it means ^^
but the way you guys are treating him is like having a guy taking a lovely picture of a random spot in the wilderness and posting it online, and then some company filing a lawsuit for copyright infringement because it looks as if the guy stole one of their pictures.

When he asked how to open a file for a video game that he has no idea about. Clearly he did not make the file, so he had to have gotten it from someone, so it's likely he doesn't actually own a copy of the game.

Like in spam threads, ones about downloaded games are to not post in, this counts as postcount inflating.
Use the report button to direct matters to the attention of crew. No actions taken may also be due to bogus reports or absence of violations.
There is no need to restate the same 10 times over, when a link to a guide for proper ripping of Gamecube/Wii games could have sufficed, and that any copies not made using that method could most likely be the problem, and that short of following such a way of (properly) ripping games, there is no assurance problem is not coming from there, and no advice could help anyway under such non-reproducible circumstances.
Additionally to the possibly questionable origin of the files, wrong section.
