Hi all, I'm using the newest VBA-M and i'm having trouble creating a save in game while playing fire red.
My first instinct was to come on here and search for answers but i can only find the sticky wich requires me to make an ingame save in step 8.

Whenever i try to save via the ingame menu it will say, "Saving game please do not turn off the power...Save Error, please exchange the backup memory".

please help.

Have you tried changing the Save Type?
Located under Options>Emulator>Save Type

I don't really have time to test it out for ya right now with all the combos you can do. but try mixing it up a bit till you find one that works for ya. :thumb:

Actually, go to the sticky on the regular VBA section titled "How to fix Boktai, PKMN, DBZ, SMB3...". Download one of the vba-over files posted there and it should fix your problem. If it doesn't, then try Google or something.
