hi: i am running winning eleven 2000 u-23 and when it asks me to press the start key, just after the "konami sports" logo, epsxe hangs and window tells me that "epsxe.exe had an error and had to close", more exactly, it could not "read" some memory adress.
i have a pentium iii, a tnt2 video card, using pete's opengl gpu and epsxe default spu.
if anyone can help me: thanks a lot :)
ps: i have just discovered something very weird. if i try to run it from the CD, it hangs, and if i make an iso of the original cd and run it, it does run perfectly, but without music. it seems that the cd has the music as audio-cd tracks. anyone has any idea how to play the game FROM the cd and WITH music?

I had other Issue...
The game seems to Stuck before, It never passes the legal info screen (the second One)...
Once I've make it fully playable with Pete's D3D Plugin, Pete's DSound Plugin, and Pete's CDr pluguin...
May be if you try this conbination the game will work on your PC...
other good SPU plugin that worked with the game, is tre Eternal SPU.

first:i think your we2000 cd has some bad sectors, because of playing too much.you should clean the surface of cd or buy new cd or download iso from some sits.
second:there is no music if you play it with iso model.but i have a method.copy a full game disk iso including music cd by software Clondcd.then, use software Deamon tool to emulate virtul cd.at last play epsxe with cdrom model.

While the first one was good advice, the second one could be fatal. Watch your words.

Images with CloneCD are also ISOs (albeit in .img format), but have audio tracks nonetheless. Just make sure you extract them as RAW images.
Oh, and ePSXe can play ISOs using "File --> Run ISO".
As this was a thread started 10 months ago, I'm closing it.
