GBX PLAYER is a Gameboy/Gameboy Colour emulator for windows.
** Keep in mind that it doesn't emulate Gameboy Advance. **
New features in 0.5 :
- Joypad support(yes again :) as it seemed not to work correctly in version 0.3
(Comment by Zero : See included screenshot , but you need a
keyset manager like the Gravis Keyset Manager , it also works under WinXp but then without
the keyset manager)
- Speed adjusted a little (Comment by Zero : It's a bit more stable)
- Added Game Boy Color Advance Mode (Comment by Zero : The first major
step to GBA emulation has been made with this nifty new feature it gives you
access to some secret areas/shops as seen in Zelda : Oracle of Ages/Seasons)
- Added options to enable/disable Background,Window & Objects as well
as a Sound Echo (Comment by Zero : This required INI editing before)
Features already provided before 0.5 :
- GBC Emulation !!! (ZERO : Yes it's possible to play GBC color games
as well as of version 0.25. To do this go to Options then Emulator and select
Gameboy Color.)
- Support window and full screen modes (Uses DirectX) (ZERO : Three standard
size plus a full screen mode)
- Can play the exact same sound as a real GameBoy Color (ZERO : Nuff said)
- Joysticks are supported (ZERO : Joypads are supported but you need
to use a keyset manger program were you can link the joypad buttons to
the desired keys or you must have a USB gamepad which installs itselfs.)
- Improved speed !!!
