I'm playing Golden Sun on my mac (I own the game for the GBA as well so it's legal), and all of a sudden it freezes up. I have to force quit, knowing full well that I hadn't saved in a long time. So fine, gotta learn from your mistakes right? I play for a couple hours, saving every 15 minutes or so. The emulator freezes up again, and I'm not too worried, because I had just saved about 30 seconds beforehand.... I load it again, and it took me back to where it had loaded after freezing last time!!! I had just saved.. is there ANY way to recover that? Someone please help me! Why is it freezing at all? Can this be fixed?

P.S. I'm running v1.7.2 with 64k flash size, as Golden Sun doesn't run in 128k

P.P.S. I've long since fixed the common Golden Sun save problems.. been playing the game fine for a few days, this just came up!

make a savestate after every native save.

the state will contain the save data.

Not sure how to do that/what that means.. I'm very much the newb. So there's nothing that can be done about the lost data? And what's with the freezing anyways?

not sure myself, if its common, then it must only be common to the Mac ports

does Mac version support save states?

i think it defaults to Shift + F# to save and then just press the F# to load?

Umm nothing happens.. F# is like.. F+#? Like the character you get when you hit shift+3?

try ctrl instead of shift.
