Trading Pokemon in Gold/Silver

I'm brand new to this so please don't gang up on the newbie here. I'm just curious if I can trade between games on the VBA? Either on the same computer or if I got on 2 computers at my house. I've tried to figure it out but I can't. :(

Either use no$gmb or tgb dual.

VBA-L 1.72l supported linking for gold/silver, but it froze the first gen games.
