.cue is the extension of a file that accomanies an iso made by cdrwin, if you are loading a .bin, you will need the cue file for it.. it is like an info file

You're trying to run the game from an ISO, right? If not(if you're running from the cd), there is no need for a .cue file.

If so, then the ISO can be found in different formats. CDRWIN is a program that can create an ISO in the CUE+BIN format. If you don't have both of them, maybe you'll have to create the image from the original cd again.

I'm having a similar problem too. When I try to load Chrono Cross from the cd, it keeps asking me to open some kind of file but I don't know what. The extension shows .rar btw. I'm running this game from my cd-writer directly. When I try to just select any file and open, it bombs me out with msg saying adripsx has generated an error windows will close this program.
I'm using w2k btw.

Thanx

What cd plugin are you using? Make sure you're not using Mooby's cdr plugin, cuz it's for isos only, and it will ask for the image file. My suggestion is try Pete's cdr plugin, configure it correctly, and run the "Boot PSX-CD" option to run the game.
