That might be, but I've heard many "Americans" that feel otherwise. What they want and what they know are two different things.
You're also speaking from inference. That you may know or have heard of a few people who want one thing doesn't mean anything in regards to the whole.

I just had an epiphany about keyboards, they're all WRONG/left-handed.
The number pad is on the wrong side. Seriously think about it, you navigate with the mouse so your right hand is always on it...but the number pad is on the right side as well so if you need to punch in numbers you need to either awkwardly move your left hand across yourself or take your hand off the mouse punch in the numbers and then get back on the mouse. It would be far more efficient (at least for those of us that are right-handed) if the pad was on the left, this way we could punch in the numbers with our left hand whilst retaining navigation ability and thus increasing efficiency.
Now Accountants may argue that when punching numbers into fields you're not supposed to navigate with the mouse but rather with the tab key to ensure you don't miss any fields, but that can still easily be accomplished since your left hand will still be more than close enough to hit the tab key.
So what does this mean?
There is only one keyboard in the entire world that allows you to fix this issue and that is the Microsoft Sidewinder X6.
Which means that all right-handed PC users in the world need to drop their prejudiced left-handed keyboards and buy a MS Sidewinder X6.

Lol. Seriously though, think about it guys. How do you use a Calculator? If your left hand is beyond useless, you'll use your right hand whilst keeping the pen in it so you can quickly write down the answer or more likely you'll use your left hand to punch in the numbers.
Now you could pick up the mouse and use the Numberpad...but that would be a little retarded so all that remains is using the left hand which means the Numberpad should be on the left.
Taking your hand off the mouse to use the Numberpad is the paper and pen equivalent of first putting your pen down before using the calculator and if you've ever written number based exams you'll know that's just plain inefficient.

I love it as it is, your forgetting about the numbers in the upper part of the keyboard under the "F" key number keys, for a quick use with the right hand those suffice, as for the accountant example wrong, having to concentrate just your left hand on calculating is better, and leaving other functions for the right hand (like tab). Calculator example is also bad since i wouldn't be using my mouse while calculating now would i ?

Yes, but the problem with the top row of numbers is that they don't follow the 3x3 standard so you've gotta look at them when using them whereas a 3x3 standard you can use just about from memory. This further reduces efficiency and increases the chance of errors since you might hit the wrong key (as well as increased chance of transposition errors and other such errors due to the increased time taken between looking at the number and entering it).
As it is though this is how I generally enter numbers since I'm super slow on the Numberpad (since my right hand lives on the mouse).
Tab is far enough removed to not interfere with the entering of numbers on left-handed numberpad whilst still efficiently close enough for the left hand to press after entering numbers (kinda like pressing the clear key on a calculator in preparation for the next calculation)
Calculator example is also bad since i wouldn't be using my mouse while calculating now would i ?
That depends on how easily reachable the field that needs the next number is, if it's quite far away your would use the mouse since tab would be inefficient and arrow key use may not be implemented/any more efficient (which could basically only be used in Excel).

I used to have a Sidewinder X6, but the padding underneath (or wtfever it's called) kept sliding out of place, so I had to either hit the buttons extra hard, or pop some buttons at least once a week and use something thin and pointy to slide it back into place.
It became such a nuisance that I just ditched it and bought a new one.

Nope you can use both just as easy from memory its a mater of practice and how used you are, i use both so i have no problem with writing without watching the keyboard.
This further reduces efficiency and increases the chance of errors since you might hit the wrong key.
Nope the chances are the same, not keyboard's design fault cause you didn't think of using them often to get used to it.
As it is though this is how I generally enter numbers since I'm super slow on the Numberpad (since my right hand lives on the mouse).
I use numpad mainly for calculator and excel.
Tab is far enough removed to not interfere with the entering of numbers on left-handed numberpad whilst still efficiently close enough for the left hand to press after entering numbers (kinda like pressing the clear key on a calculator in preparation for the next calculation)
Still many would like to use one had for operation and one for imputing calculations etc., not the same imho, and could be the fact that i'm used to it but using the right hand for the numpad doesn't feel very good, i'm used due to every life with the left for chores such as imputing a phone number or using a real calculator to do this on the left.
That depends on how easily reachable the field that needs the next number is, if it's quite far away your would use the mouse since tab would be inefficient and if arrow key use isn't implemented (which could basically only be used in Excel).
There's one thing wrong with you statement, your almost just as close to your mouse with the left hand as you are to your arrow keys, while imputing on the numpad your not going to use the mouse anyway regardless so...
Edit: wait a minute now a keyboard is debate reason... on second thought each with his preferences luckily the majority of keyboards use the style i'm familiar with but if you wanna have something different no reason not to do it :P.

I'm talking about using the left hand for the numberpad (since that what you would do if the number pad is on the left) and you're arguing against me but saying you use the left hand? So that means you cross move your left hand across your body and use it to enter numbers?
There's one thing wrong with you statement, your almost just as close to your mouse with the left hand as you are to your arrow keys, while imputing on the numpad your not going to use the mouse anyway regardless so...
Huh? I was merely talking about arrow keys being a third navigation option after mouse and tab key not saying which hand should use them.
Also the reason for this observation is the lapse of efficiency in navigation if you're going to navigate with the mouse since your hand is no longer on the mouse as it's just been on the numpad which as I said is like putting the pen down whilst doing calculations in a time restricted manner.

Heh, I'm used to using all that stuff with my left hand. Since if I use a calculator with my left hand I can keep using my right hand for writing without need for adjustments. And when it comes to normal phones (not cordless sets or cellphones) I tend to hold the receiver in my right hand which means I punch in the numbers with the left hand.
And how close or far away the arrow keys are also doesn't matter since I was merely talking about it being a 3rd navigation method (which however can basically only be used in Excel (and imo the mouse is faster, the only reason why one might not want to use it is because unlike the arrow keys the mouse doesn't move in grids which means the wrong field could be selected)).
So what you'd do in excel then is rather than navigating with the mouse using your right hand you'd navigate with it using the arrow keys. Entering numbers is kept to the left.
Strike105X
June 4th, 2011, 16:49
In Excel yes but you yourself said that excel was an exception and a rare one at using this, you ended up asking sort of solution is for software that don't use arrow keys and i answered, so what i said pretty much stands.
SCHUMI_4EVER
June 4th, 2011, 16:55
It may stand, but is inconsequential in the original premise.
Regardless of how you navigate as a right-handed person it's best done with the numberpad on the left.
Saying both the numberpad and mouse are close to the current position of the numberpad doesn't change that.

Leveraging. Buy a self cleaning oven.
Job done and goodnight.
As for washing clothes, own only 3 outfits. You'll have to clean them often.
Owning 3 outfits means never having to sort your crap out in wardrobes.
Cleaning bedrooms?
Easy, buy a robot vacuum cleaner and a huge ass bin.
Throw everything out except your bed and pc.
Best way to motivate yourself to clean is to not clean and not need motivation. Solve the puzzle. Cleaning is dumb.

From the kitchen I only love the food.
Hate washing dishes. No dishwasher here.
I take too much time doing it.
First removing scraps, then sorting what I'm going to wash first, then doing it in order: first glasses, then dishes, then cutlery, finally pans and the rough stuff.
I do a great job I might say, but too much time.
Wife knows I hate it.
I clean the bedroom instead.

It could be an HD Duke Nukem 3D updated with modern graphics and extras for all I care, as long as it's released.
From the previews DNF looks like the classic Duke Nukem we all have came to love, to me that's a good thing. DNF may not be all that special now, after all the market is now over-saturated with first person shooters whereas it wasn't back when Duke Nukem 3D was released. The only third person Duke Nukem games were the games for PS1, I'm not sure if there was any Duke Nukem games released for the PS2, but I don't think there was any.

I believe the guy said around 140k. Which is... up there a tad, but a little work and she'll run like new.
It's amazing how many great deals you can find on cars if you look hard enough. Scour ebay motors, the various classified newspapers they have in every area, craigslist, car selling websites, etc. There is always fantastic deals to be found.
I'm going to need to get a dealers license. I've sold four cars this year - max without a license in Ohio is 5. (Technically, it's illegal to sell a car for-profit without a license iirc, but that's not enforced.)

As for deals
2001 Chevy Tahoe 97,000 miles, only $2,500.
Guy bought it before I could get there though

Well, too many people think "Oh, that thump when the car shifts is horrible - the car is worthless" and take whatever they can get. Even if it's something so minor some fresh tranny fluid and a bottle of Lucas Oil transmission fix can fix. (Trans Fix being the only "mechanic in a bottle" type product I have any trust in. Has worked beautifully in almost everything I've used it in. Even worked for a few thousand miles in a car that previously refused to shift into third gear at all.)
A friend of mine bought a car that was misfiring and then stalling. Cavalier, I believe 2003. Got it for $1500 - "Fair" blue book value was like $4800 at the time. One new set of spark plugs later, it ran beautifully (as beautifully as the cavalier's unimpressive by-all-standards engine can run). $12 worth of repairs dropped the car value $3300 (more when you consider that car fit more into the "good" category as soon as the spark plugs were replaced) ... Haha.

Thats crazy. I saw a guy selling a nice Mercedes E320 for $2,000, because it supposedly needed a valve job.
The guy just used to much oil, and it fell on the exhaust manifold and ignited :p
ElijahTW

Another favorite type of car I like to pick up is a car someone wrecked, especially older (1990-2003) ones. Assuming it's all cosmetic damage, it's generally easy to fix. Sure, the shop they went to said $1500 to fix it - the junk yard I go to says "$50 for the new door and put it on your damn self" -- Get it painted ($100 or so, cheaper if you know how to pain cars which I need to learn) and you're done.
The value lost due to a wreck on it's history (assuming the prospective buyer even pays attention - you fixed it up, it looks good!) is generally not substantial in comparison to the money you saved by buying it damaged.

I love peace and quiet. I love my new area.
At my old town, it was uncommon to hear wannabe gangsters yelling some stupid *****. In my new area, the most you ever hear is some kids playing outside and the occasional lawn mower. Nobody complains if I have too many cars parked on the street, even, since everyone has drive ways.

If I ever do want to relieve the wannabe gangster experience, it's only a short drive to Akron, Ohio.

In other news, I decided against running a network cable to my unattached garage. The ground is really hard and digging a 15'x12"x3" hole wouldn't be an easy task. The good news is, I got the WiFi running decently enough for the time being, using a WiFi repeater in the window closest to the garage, as well as a USB WiFi dongle taped to the house-facing window in the garage.

I don't live in the city, more the suburbs I guess, and I don't mind it much. However, I wouldn't want to live where it's any busier, and I wouldn't mind living in less. I don't want to live out in the middle of nowhere, but I spent my earlier years growing up in Madison (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madison,_Ohio), and the whole area was like a cross between light suburbs and country (although it was small and not far from busier places, like Mentor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mentor,_Ohio)).
Something like that is where I move/live one day, somewhere small and quiet, but not in the middle of nowhere with something nearby. Slightly milder winters, while still having snow, would be preferable too (if you don't live right near anything, all of the snow will be worse).
On my trip through Ohio and Indiana, and to Illinois, I saw alot of land that appeared like that (although it was a bit more "cornfield and country" than I prefer). That's probably why I enjoyed that trip more than ever visiting my aunt in California or going on a trip to New York or Florida.

I live in the suburbs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potomac,_Maryland) myself. I'm am not for from the D.C. (around 15 minutes to Pennsylvania Avenue) so I am used to the city. There is also Baltimore, to the north. I wouldn't mind living on the water front there. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inner_Harbor)
I could probably deal with the city, but not deep country. My uncle has a big house near the Pennsylvania line, and it's nothing but woods. The nearest store was 4 miles away. Drove me nearly mad when I stayed there one weekend.
Civilization can be a beautiful thing.

I wouldn't want to live either in the middle of nowhere nor a large city. I'd rather have a nice middle, although slightly more towards of the former. Of the two extremes, I'm running for former. I would hate a life in a busy city.

For all you know, any streamable video online could be pulled out or have access to it restricted anytime, not just for monies.

Why want to be somebody you aren't?
Not every girl you talk to has to be a sex kitten. And it is not particularly hard to get laid, at a party or elsewhere.. Just have confidence and be spontaneous. Stop thinking that rejection is the end of the world...if one girl does not like you, heck, go after another. The more you think into it, the less chance you will have. Just stop putting the girl up as some goddess or something, when you know she isn't.
For all you know this Greg Plitt character is possibly gay and does not get any.

The human brain copes with a huge volume of infortmation by deleting most of it on a microsecond basis.
We call it 'reticular activation'.
Example, you are working around in a busy cafe and there are 10 people talking, you are listening to a tv in the background. After you are done, you are asked what the people's conversation was about and struggle to answer.
You repeat the conditions, you listen to the tv and ignore the conversation.
Someone mentions your name and you hear it. HOW DOES HEAR NAME?
The brain actually does hear the conversation and deletes focus. Present information passes through reticular processing, attention is drawn.
Women say they hate bodybuilders but that doesn't stop the sight of them activating the brains reticular processing to a nearby attractive mate, firing
all sorts of fun chemicals into them and corrupting thought.
You can't make choices over the brains conditional performance when performance is purely a physics process.
To choose who attracts you is like choosing how strong gravity is.
Basically, women DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. Emotional compromise always corrupts rational decisions.
Remember that attraction, and I mean sexual I want to do you now like a caveman attraction is not settling for someone for conditional circumstances. It's not based on beliefs.

Stephenie hates fat speccy geek guys and wouldn't have sex with John :'(
John walks up to her and gets brutally rejected (called him an 'it' stingerrrr) and says
I ****1ng hate you, you are a complete b1tch and I hope you die, I mean seriously, you're a wh0re who does enough blow to stay thin and think you are special?

Main Page -> Product Page -> Useless Information about why the pro-uber-amazing version is better -> I don't really want to enter my email address, but okay I'll use my old one... -> Product Information Page on download.com -> Click download -> Redirected to a page where it has one of those annoying "wait 5 seconds and then the download will start" things -> Download finally starts.
I suggest an improvement:

Well I can kind of understand the cnet/download.com bit since some companies wouldn't be able to afford all the hosting needed to download all their products so they save by having someone else help out.
But yeah I agree, that stuff can get quite annoying, especially if having to all that for a simple trial.

It's that part of you that as a horny kid would make you act weird.
Example A.

I sold those ebooks for a while with such copy.
White background, black bold text centre-left aligned. Occasional red highlights. Yellow boxes with user testomonials. All that syntax stuff actually comes from eye studies of where focus resides from people looking at new sites. It works, all the emotional "I had crap happen too and now with hard work I'm a gangster" I made XX in XX XX. Hell yeah, it's easy.

Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones star Sean Bean was involved in an alleged attack in a North London pub at the weekend. The incident is said to have occured while the actor was enjoying a drink and a cigarette in the Sunday sun with friend April Summers. Standing outside the Hill Bar and Brassiere in Camden a passer-by made lewd comments about his companion leading the former Sharpe actor to confront the man.
As reported in The Daily Mail, the unnamed man is believed to have returned to the bar later and attacked the Lord of the Rings star, punched him in the face and 'stabbed him with broken glass'.
Declining a trip to hospital Sean Bean went back into the pub and ordered another drink.
A fellow drinker told The Mail, “Sean is a regular here and we’ve never had any problems before. He was with a very attractive woman and an incident occurred outside the bar.”
“He came in with a cut on his arm and a bruise on his eyebrow. We saw to his injuries with the first aid kit. He seemed ok and wanted to have another drink.”
RESPECT to the man.

Did you fail or something? You sound pretty pissed...
pretty sure I did and yeah I'm pissed off, though not because I failed but because the exam setup itself was fail.
First of all just about nothing in the examples we were given came up in the exam, everything was tested in a new different way so learning made jack difference.
And then every single bloody thing was engineered to take the maximum amount of time possible. The only question that resembled the examples and info we had was actually longer than the version we had which had a disclaimer that it was too long for an exam situation. Plus then there's that I already find the exams in this institution horrendously ambiguous at the best of times just to add a little fuel to the fire.
I mean look I know exams are meant to be hard and squeeze you on the time a bit but there's always one question where you can collect a couple of marks with minimum faffing about...well not today...absolutely everything was set up to take an age and a half with that ammort table basically just being the worst example out of the lot.

No that's not the case.
You need examples for this stuff first, you can't just go from theory (and this stuff wasn't even in the theory) to practice without having seen how that happens at least once before.
And by examples I didn't just mean looking at an answer and going "Ahah" and moving on to look at the next thing, I meant actually working through all the questions and answers provided.

No offense but I honestly think the answer is "being in denial about being lonely and faking asexuality".
So, what answer did you find?
Was it something about you getting a girlfriend because if it is, power to you, you're a stronger guy than myself.
I guess that I just don't want a girlfriend enough to wade through trusting someone else.
That was my realization the other day. I trust no one, I never ask anyone for help for the reason that every time I asked my mother for help when I genuinely needed it the most she let me down.
Every time I asked my brothers for help they let me down.
Like I was getting railed. No one saved me man. I asked for help. I asked.
My father threw me out when I was 16, asked my closest brother to let me stay with him for ONE night. He refused. It would not have inconvenieced him to help either.
My other brother after that split me up with my girlfriend and fed me crap like I wasn't in love.
I confided for the first time with a girl, with anyone about something really important for me to get off my chest to ignorance.
I trusted my head of year at university to help me out when I requested help when I genuinely needed it.
Nowdays I do things routinely of momentous effort just to avoid having to depend on someone else.
I can rely on me, I get it done. I bloody well get things done. I am incredible at getting things done.
That sort of damages me from interacting with others. There's just nothing genuine between me and others now.
I'm fine with that, until I remember how my life was before I had my heart broken but it's still not functioning and I still don't need it to.
So I just spend my days here, in my bedroom. Doing nothing of significance. Browsing the internet 10 hours a day.
It's not because I am lazy or unable to do great things. I feel there are no great things I have left undone. 23 years old and accomplished everything I want and had the ability to.
I just need to find out how to fix my heart so that I may live again. If it were possible.
I should have been a father, no one knows that but me and her. That kinda hurts too, I wonder what my child would have been like.
No one cares about my problems but me, I don't care about my problems. They're ones not worth caring about so why am I posting?
Guess I'm grandfathered now. Welcome to being a proper man, kid.

Close, but not quite. Besides, I'm not lonely in that context. If you read the definition of the word lonely, you'll clearly see that it no where states anything about having a significant other or lack thereof. Second, I never claimed to be asexual from the start. I prefer to call myself "straight with a greater degree of control". My views on Americuunts and women of western culture in general haven't changed.
Let's just say it's a logical answer as to why I "could", but NOT as to why I "should".

Stop calling me blue! It's either blueshogun, shogun, or at the very least bluey.

Unless your name is Kaizen, or unless you are female, then no... you wont.

But..we can give you a forum nickname using "the forbidden name", otherwise it limits the possibilities. :p
What's wrong with it btw? It's not your real name, I never minded when I was called "Izzy" when I was little although my mother did since it was a play on my last name and "Izzy" wasn't my name according to her. But calling you the "forbidden name" is no different than someone calling me Xtreme or Xt.
Anyways I'll keep that in mind I guess.

I'll stick with "he whose name cannot be uttered", or blue. Both sound better than angry asexual horndog anyway.

Rory owned at the Open. He was -14 under at one point. But I don't think he is better then woods.

Haha yeah, I have four unprotected WiFi networks in range of my computer - all of which are fairly fast. Makes me wonder why I even pay for internet. :???:

My Syncmaster 2443BW adjusts automatically to a 4:3 resolution, having black areas on the left and right sides.
Why does it not do this for 16:9?
