Actually it is that easy :p Most people are dumb enough to not even put a password on their router. I once did a drive around the neighborhood with my friend and his Nokia N95 whilst searching for wireless networks. I was actually amazed to know that ~80% of locations had at least one, un-protected network which you could use right off the bat. And in many others, the password was as simple as "1234".

Well, the problem is that my regular connection is mobile connection using a USB-stick, Huawei E169... Thus it has some problems from time to time. But its working again!:yippee:

Though if I had Wi-Fi receiver I could use the free wireless network that's active in the city I live in, though the speed it gives depends on how much traffic it has so its not very good as main connection!:lol:

But I'm back now, stupid how it starts working right after I mention it here!:lol: Still, it has sucked since last saturaday.

Oh right, some great things aside from the connection problem... My bike got a flat tire on tuesday and I had entrance exams on that day, luckily the air held out after pumping it full and pedaling there... Had to walk back though. So today I bought that crap that's used to fix the tires through the valve and at first it seemed to go well until... BOOM! and there goes the tire, most likely I now have to replace the whole thing not to mention the crap that was supposed to fix the tire got all over my trouses when it exploded... And now the dark blue jeans got this huge white smudge on the knee. What a great week I've had!:D

I personally like that FG aspect that they don't just go after the speed of the car, but actually look at them from some other perspectives too some time like fuel consumption, comfort, safety etc etc. They also test various car gadgets like sound systems and stuff.

No, that's what I like about Fifth Gear, they also give time to economy cars, and don't always set the criteria of better as being more faster or looking hotter, often they'll take fuel economy, safety and other stuff like that into consideration as well, which is really cool.

They also do bizarre stuff like putting an aircraft against a motor-bike against an F1 car, which is really interesting.

On top of that, they just send you arrears for nothing and you have to go to their office every month and have flame-wars with the officers there to have it corrected.

Even a small house there would consume more electricity then a large house here lol. You guys electric cookers, dish-washers, a lot of appliances and heating/cooling systems running 24/7. We don't have any of that here (only very rich people have dish-washers in their houses).

The electric meter has a seal on it which, if broken will result in a fine, plus people come to inspect the meters once every month. There are other, easier ways to steal power though.

Electricity theft occurs on a massive scale here. 41% of the electricity is stolen (meaning that almost half the electricity produced isn't even paid for!). Freakin' corrupt electric supply company officers will take $50 a month and let you hook up a wire directly off the pylon or just let you by-pass the meter altogether.

Even if you don't bribe, you can just buy a hooked wire and connect it to the pylon if one happens to pass-by in front of your house at night and run your AC without worries, then in the morning, remove it and nobody will know.

Still that's outright stealing stuff so we don't do it :innocent:

Afaik it's really not that hard, assuming you have an analog meter, the electric ones with the LCD screens wouldn't work for this I don't think.

I believe you just have to replace one of the gears with a bigger one.

I wouldn't condone electrical piracy, for the simple fact that it probably isn't too hard to get caught, and messing with your meter would expose you to alot of power.

Apparently japanese scientists have developed a device which can turn dogs barks into human speech.

Japanese toy manufacturers are known for developing awesomely bizarre and outlandish creations. One such company, Takara Tomy, recently unveiled its updated BowLingual Voice gadget, which supposedly translates exactly what your barking pet pooch is trying to communicate.

According to Ubergizmo, Takara Tomy asserts that the device, which is worn like a collar, can accurately translate barks into 100 different Japanese words. Older versions of BowLingual (and Meowlingual) have been around for several years, but only acted as emotional analyzers, translating barks or meows into one of six different emotions that was then displayed on a hand-held wireless device.

The new version actually verbally translates (with a female voice) those yelps into Japanese words and phrases. It will also, via an LCD screen on a wireless controller, still supposedly display the dog's mood. While a 100 word vocabulary sounds impressive, we'd expect to only hear a lot of: "Food, treat, play, food, food, food, play!" But, if Tomy's telling the truth, and dogs are now miraculously able to form entire sentences, a "Please get this lame, embarrassing bandana off of me!" wouldn't be too altogether shocking.

Hopefully, Tomy is also working on a reverse device so that dogs can understand human language. Perhaps that will finally put an end to all of those incredibly annoying owners who insist on baby-talking to their poor, pitiable companions. Isn't that wight, good widdle buddy?

The go to northern sweden or norway... During winter.

I'd say to come to finland but I'm not sure I want to rise the chances of meeting you face to face!:p And we don't really have huge mountains here either unless you go all the way to the northern part but that's about the same as going to norway.

Whale saves drowning diver

A beluga whale saved a drowning diver by hoisting her to the surface, carrying her leg in its mouth. Terrified Yang Yun thought she was going to die when her legs were paralysed by crippling cramps in arctic temperatures.

She had been taking part in a free diving contest WITHOUT any breathing equipment. Competitors had to sink to the bottom of an aquarium's 20ft arctic pool and stay there for as long as possible amid the beluga whales at Polar Land in Harbin, north east China. But when Yun, 26, tried to head to the surface she struggled to move her legs. Lucky Yun said: "I began to choke and sank even lower and I thought that was it for me - I was dead. Until I felt this incredible force under me driving me to the surface."

Beluga whale Mila had spotted her difficulties and using her sensitive dolphin-like nose guided Yun safely to the surface.An organiser said: "Mila noticed the problem before we did."
