View Full Version : No Memory card in slot 1?! What the hell?!

Guy, recently I tried do play RE4 and FFXII but when I tired to load data i gives me that there is NO MEMOR CARD in slot 1?! I opened the PS bios borwser and it shows that there are no memory card in slot 1 however it shows memory card 1 with 2000 kb free but no contents and just NO MEMORY card?! What is going on?

Did you try to configure the mem cards in the pcsx2 config.?

Good tutorial. No it`s not that problem. The problem is that there is Mcd01.ps2 file but when I start PCSX there is no memory card inserted and the PS2 browser shows there is no M.card but it shows that there are 2000 kb free and Persona 4 loads normal?! There is a missing but full Mcd. What is that bug?!

Did you try re-downloading the pcsx2 binaries to a fresh folder? That might help fix this problem.

I tried to copy/paste mcd01.ps2 into a completely fresh folder.... it`s the same... however mcd02 is OK...

does it happen with all the versions of pcsx2?
the last time I had this problem, it was with v0.9.2, it could not save to memory card and used to ask for a mem card format.

Yes on all versions including PG series.
