View Full Version : Compatibility problem under Vista

When I load iDeaS under Vista, it works perfect, except that on startup it shows the following error message :

"Un error occuring during the SoundCapture creation."

But under XP, I don't get this problem.
Any idea about what could cause this ?

As an info, the same problem prevented some really old versions (1.0.1.7 IIRC) from even loading.

No problem, but I prefer when you speak English.
BTW, hope you'll fix the problem soon enough.

EDIT : about sound, the "Synchronize" option acts as "No synchronize" when you select 44100 Hz.

to me that looks like iDeaS calls "DirectSoundCaptureCreate8" and the function fails.
