Sounds like language used in english subs/dubs....

I was told once that Nimrod means a "Hunter", but is usually used to call someone an "idiot" or "dull".

Nicompoop means generally the same thing, so besides just calling someone dull or an idiot, those are used as alternatives to sound more polite or insinuate humor into the situation, because nicompoop or nimrod does sound more funny and less harsh than outright calling someone an idiot or dull.

[sarcasm on]Blame Funimation for their crappy subs/dubs of the originals and constantly changing things they might deem inappropriate for Children, because as we know only children watch anime [/sarcasm off]

hentai, baka/ bakamono (sp?), tensai, and "thank you" (they say it in engrish)
those words are used alot.

the really generic anime use such predictable phrases, that i know what they're saying (and i don't speak japanese)

I'll keep my demon slaying to videogames, ala Devil May Cry, and comic books/Anime, Inuashu, because I'd probably not like the results if I had to face off against a real demon, and no, I can't carry a freaking 10' sword nor do I know of any that'd kill 100 opponents with a single stroke...

Nukes, Intercontinental missiles, napalm strikes, biological weapons, etc... I know lots of weapons capable of that:rolleyes::lol:

But isn't there already a lot of words that came from internet or like... For example, a lot of people use "lol" in real life... And I'm sure "noob" and "baka" have their places too. Then there are movies, after Terminator 2 "hasta la vista, baby" was the new meme, "desu" came few years ago. I could keep going but I really need to start sleeping, its 3:00 am...:D

Good night, nyaa:lol:
