i dont no my settings or nothin cuz im a noob so yea um im on disc 3 on this rit after u win the card tornament the screen turns black and freezes and ideas how to fix this im usin ePSXe 1.7.0

what are you playing from the game disc or an image? do you know what plugins you are using?

im usein iso and i think my plugin is gpuPeteOpenGL2

try playing it from the disc then because that would tell you right away if it is the image itself that is the problem or if it something related to your plugins/configs. btw you are not using save states instead of memory card saves are you?

well i use both but i mostly use savestates why does it affect it in some way?

save states can cause a wide range of problems, they are prone to becoming corrupt over time as well. i suggest you try loading from a memory card save and see if this freeze still happens. if by chance it does, either play from the game disc directly or try getting through this part on another emulator.
