firstly i apologize if anyone think i never used the search and i'm bring back old topic. I had this problem where the screen is mist when i dive underwater, i read the thread and try using vba.vba can't even open pokemon emerald and i tried follow the leads of gbata and all sorts but stiil it wont work need some guidance on where should i first start off with to solve my problem?

As far as I know, you must "patch" the cartridge of Pokemon Emerald for VBA. Forgot the name of the program, though. Try searching in the VBA-Forum.

patching won't do crap, the problem lies in the fact nogba doesn't emulate the fog technique used.

so i should use vba? if i use vba how do i transfer the safe file? This convertor found on http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba-discussion/88632-how-hack-your-pokemon-save-file-instructions.html
i heard its for pokemon diamond/pearl and there's nothing for other version

To transfer your save from No$gba to VBA, do the following:
1) Open up the no$gba.ini file and look for the line that says "SAV/SNA File Format"
2) Change the Compressed/Unpressed to Raw
3) Run the game in No$gba and save normally
4) Using VBA, run the game and import the save
If you want to transfer your save back, just copy the VBA save file to your No$gba's Battery folder.

Oh, so i have to change it to raw instead of uncompressed? then how to i import the save to vba?just run the vba?

Just move the edited save file to the folder your pokemon rom is.

Either copy/move the save over to where VBA stores your game save files or go to File>Import and import the save file.
