When I open Dolphin(x86, svn r50) I get error messages about not being able to load the Pad Simple and VideoDX9 plugins. I didn't think it was a problem 'cause I could just use different plugins, but when I try to play a game it'll go normally until right after the Nintendo logo, then it just stays black and doesn't do anything. Does this have something to do with the plugins, or is it my computer?

Please update to r80 and see if it is the same thing.

He just hasn't set up the plug-ins yet, I don't think you have to in the newer compiles...

The problem still occurs, and I'm inclined to believe it's because of the plugins because I am able to use the VideoDX9 plugin with the official release and it works fine.

It's been said a million times, but I guess it needs to be stated again:dead::

Update your DirectX to the latest (June) if not July if you are using Dolphin on Windows. It should solve most if not all of your problems.

Also note that Dolphin still has poor compatibility and not much progress has been made in compatibility, graphics or sound since the last official betas/releases.;)

As for the Linux version, I have no idea.

I have the latest DirectX, and I already know that the game I want to play is compatible.

Edit - Switched computers, problem is gone.
