Hi,
I have a new question ^^!
I own the Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess (Pal - Multi5).
I can't change language ingame (only English are available).
Real NGC use bios for know country at start (same as Dreamcast and PS2).
What i need for change "console" language in Dolphin?

selecting language! that would be an interesting option to add to dolphin.ini!

if you look into EXI_DeviceIPL.cpp I think there some hints into doing that in the future.
// We should provide an option to choose from the above, or figure out the checksum (the algo in yagcd seems wrong)
// so that people can change default language.
Thats refering to the sram dumps that hold language stuff I'm guessing. only english and german is in there but it always loads the "normal" english one :p
You can log the issue on the google code website and hope they revisit that part (although its not really a huge issue :p)

But it will be nice for people who do not speak english or read english very well can enjoy the languages of their own on this wonderfully emulator. :)

It is only a problem for games that have no language option ingame and take the setting from somewhere (BIOS?)
The Sims PAL let me choose the language on start, while Fire Emblem starts in english (although on a real GC it runs in german :P).
So emulating this would be a nice enhancement.
How many different GC regions do exist? Most games are Multi5: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish. But some games are said to have more languages.
Metroid Prime2 Echoes should have 6 languages, but changing language settings on a Wii only gets you 5 of them, since dutch returns you to the default english.

I can change the language in SSBM, I just go to the Options menu, Languages.
I don't know why you can't. Zelda must have a language select screen as well...

Not every game has an option to change the language. Sometimes the developers decided it would be cool to automatically switch the language to the GC one.
Similar to how Animal Crossing: Wild World chooses the language based on the setting in the DS firmware.
Metroid Prime 2 Echoes does automatic detection (and there are probably many more games), it changed the language based on the Wii language setting.
