Initially this was posted in a separate section but i was asked to make a new topic as there would be more chance of getting help so here it is.

The problem i am having happens - on two computers one with ATI and one with Nvidia (sorry for spelling) graphics cards - at the Lunatic Pandora movie sequence, on both computers i have tried, i freeze at that movie sequence, and i'm clueless about how to fix it.

AMD Turion 64 dual core 1.9ghz
2gb ram
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 series - 830mb approx vram

(not got Nvidia computer specs on hand but i will update when i get them)

Forgot to mention, i tried creating an ISO with no luck, if i did have luck im presuming i wouldn't of created this post :D

have you tried to get past this part on another emulator?

the only other one i tried was PSX emulator, it got further into the sequence although didn't complete it. Im going to borrow a friend's disc and see if i can make an iso of that, as it probably is my disc where the fault lies, i'm just unable to see what the fault is.

what format did you make your image in? and you are using a PAL version of the game, right? have you patched it with a .ppf patch yet? most PAL region games need that done before they work correctly (although there are some that dont).

it auto patches well epsxe does anyway. (yes using PAL version) the image was .iso instead of .img or any of the others as i used poweriso to make the image.

i would make a new image in a different format because .iso isnt what you want to use for psx games. read this (http://forums.ngemu.com/misc-psx-discussion/34515-how-make-perfect-backup-psx-games.html) thread on how to do it. and btw are you using save states or memory card saves?

memory saves, however i made an iso using a different disk 3 and it seemed to have worked thank you for the help
