View Full Version : Help bug in Wind waker

How do you past when you help the bird girl "melody" to go to the dragon cavern? Because the emulator always hang when i enter to the area where melody is after i give the letter to the child "staff" .

If i use item hang patch , i can't go to this room but if i don't use it , i can go . BUT "melody" give you the bottle and if you don't have the patch you can't pass the item bug. Any REV have the same problem for me.

Dolphin Rev 50 32 bit system .
OGL 0.1 or DX9 plugin

My system :
Windows Vista 32 bit
Core Quad E 6600
3 Ghz Ram
Geforce 8800 GTS

I don't know what's wrong because mine is fine. I finished went to the dragon cavern and to foribben wood and now i am on my way to the next mission to Windfall island.

Try go to forbidden Wood and go see Deku Tree.. you will notice that you are slow down a little bit then back to normal then slow down a little bit until you get your magic leaf and get out of forbidden Wood then speed is back to fully normal. Did you have that ? :)

I didnt go yet to forbidden Wood . When i go i will tell you if speed slow down or no.

Yes... go see Deku Tree in the Cave and that's when it slow down a little bit then back to normal and it will continue until you get magic leaf and fly over to other cave to the outside then speed will be back to normal. I am now at Windfall Island and the speed is fine. Weird.

yes you are right when i go see Deku ,speed down from 25 to 8 fps

I had an idea and i just try it
with r58 x64 and Dualcore Off ,the speed doesn't slow down ,i get 22 fps (but when dualcore is on 8 fps)

Oh I never thought of that. I totally forgot to turn Dual Core off, haha. Good to know, thanks. Please report them about your idea and the differences, ok ? :)
