Dream Pinball 3D
There are some games that shouldn’t try to use the Wiimote, this game is one of them, if you try to use the Wiimote and Nunchuck, be prepared for frustration. If you turn the Nunchunck off and turn the Wiimote sideways, game play is significantly improved.
There are several tables, you may like some of them but I doubt you’ll like them all. The easy mode is for gamers who can’t play pinball, stick with medium. The camera isn’t very good either but it can be changed and you have to set it to your liking every game, there is no way to save the preferences.
Still, once you get the game set up the way you like it, it’s somewhat fun, granted having to change the camera every time you load a new table is annoying, and the fact the Dpad sets the camera and controls the left flipper means its easy to screw up the camera in the middle of a game.
You can play multiple players with one controller, but the camera changes for each player, so once every game you have to reset the camera for each player. This game could have been much better if someone wasn’t rushing it out too quick. In fact, I can’t find the game new, it’s hard to find used. I was thinking this was vaporware until I snagged a copy at a local Electronics Boutique.
Still if you like pinball and have a Wii, this is a good game. I’d rate it a C because it is fun to play the tables even if they aren’t arcade like, but there are some issues that will make it frustrating to enjoy the game.
