PAL games are german language by default

Please help me, I want to play Tomba! 2 from my disk but it turns german when i start the game and I don't know where to change the language

Assuming that your game is a multi-language, you have to select the desired one before you reach the main menu of the game, that means the first screens that shown when running the emu, must have a screen with language select.

PS : if you can't see it, then try using advanced set/configs with OFF SCREEN DRAWINGS, that may fix it.

But I think that your game is a german from the beginning !!

indeed, most english pal games are PAL UK, multi language games are usually French, German and Spanish/Italian.

err... if you put your game disk into your REAL PS1, which language is it then? :)
Maybe you have bought the game in germany or the wrong game disk was packed into the case... I have read such things many times :P

As hanibal said, multi language PAL have the option to chose wich one to show. Either in the main menu, or in the options before starting any game (like Silent Hill). If there's no option, most probably the game is just PAL German, no multi language.
