ePSXe.exe - unable to locate component.

This application has failed to start because WNASPI32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fixed the problem.

Whenever I try to configure the video setting, this will pop out.
ePSXe 1.7 and window vista.

How to solve. thank.

What is this wnaspi32.dll it says I'm missing?

Wnaspi32.dll is a part of the ASPI layer used by many programs to access optical drives.
If you're getting the error that it's missing, you just need to download Forceaspi. Hit up Google, it's everywhere, or you can use this link (http://sdevfw.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pzXuRi_UibZMd4pj_hUKXAHqZLbYRkOa74SW-ITHTMUJ0jpLn1j4wMqtnAd0tgByW_-o2v1WRUX9fJtRCXafzvA/ForceASPI_nero.zip?download) that Squall-Leonhart (http://forums.ngemu.com/members/54616.html) said was ok.
EASY SOLUTION: Just switch to IOCTL read mode in whatever CD plugin you're using.

This is the file you needed, it's from Nero 8 => Winaspi.dll [rar] (http://forums.ngemu.com/attachments/generic-epsxe-queries/163055d1213482520-will-not-start-wnaspi32.rar)
Get it, and put the dll in your main ePSXe folder.
(you'll have to extract the dll from the rar file)

JUST REMEMBER TO PLACE THE FILE INTO C:\WINDOWS\system32 ( which ever drive has windows installed )

the nero wnaspi32 file is just a IOTCL layer anyway.
