I played a game for about an hour and I saved on Mem card 1 and 2. I stopped playing and shutdown epsxe v7.1. When I started to play again the data in Memory Card 1 was completely blank but mem card 2 still had the saved game.

How do I set up the memory cards so this doesnt happen again?

Well it SHOULDN'T happen. Maybe it was just a bug or maybe you quit while you were saving to card #1, who knows.

No, I properly exited out of the memory cards and the properly out of the program

have you seen this happen again after this one incident? can you reproduce the issue?

I could reproduce the issue everytime i save to that memory card.

But now it is up and running
Changed the path to a different memory card file and now everything is working great.

Before I had it pointing to the file and it included the whole path i.e. username/desktop/foldername/memory cards/filename

Now I Just have it pointing to memory cards/filename

now seems to be working seemlessly
