>_< My computer doesn't have a working F3 key. How can I reassign the hot key for load state, to let's say...F4 or F5 or F6...F7? Have any plug-ins been released for giving us the option to change the hotkey? I was also wondering if there are hotkeys for frame rate changing?

F4 toggles the internal FPS limiter on/off in 1.7.0. and as far as i know you cant change the save state keys.

Damn... X-x I have no idea how i'm going to use the load state hotkey to work, aside buy a new laptop. This damn Toshiba works 50/50... See, my save state hotkey works just fine. >_< Thanks for the frame rate tip.<3
That helped.
But I still have to close out of the game to get to the freaking manual drop-down menu to load it. Grah!
Also, I just came across another problem. I recently upgraded to Epsxe 1.7, I have zlib and all the stuff I need to run it. It even runs the games...
However, savestates and load states are crashing the emulator every time I attempt to save/load...
Is there a fix for this?

some people have been reporting issues with the save states in this version but so far i have not found anything relating to what is causing it and what can be done to fix it. i suggest you just use memory card saves instead because save states are rather unstable to begin with.

save state issues are the same or better than previous versions of epsxe but like most cd based emulators it is not perfect unless you want a complete memory dump which will be 100megs in size. it wont be perfect even then since cd based games relying having data thats being streamed and the streaming process gets broken when loading a save state thats why excessive save states can break the sound for while.

breaking the sound is one thing however he says the emulator crashes when making or loading a save state. in this case it sounds to me like the emulator is failing to write the state and something like that can happen when you are not running the emulator on an administrator account.
