I'm trying to run ePSXe on Ubuntu. I've managed to configure the emulator so that I can launch the GUI, but whenever I try to access the GFX plugin configuration menu, I get an error message:

"cfgPeopsSoft file is missing"

Of course it's missing, because it was not included in the plugin package I downloaded from ngemu (Mesa or OpenGL plugins complain about the same). So what do I do know?

download the plugins individually from petes (http://www.pbernert.com/index.htm). make sure you extract them and then place them into the plugins folder.

Download the older version (http://www.pbernert.com/html/old_gpu.htm) and copy the file from it. AFAIK that is just the config frontend and can be used by old and new versions.

btw: jonc he is talking about linux version of the plugins. Pete for some reason didn't include the config applications with the newest plugins.

Thanks! It works! But since Ubuntu doesn't recognize PSX CDs and I can't use an external pad, it's more likely to be experimental.
