What settings on the PEOPS Soft plugin?
My goal is to make the EPSXE closest to a real ps1.
Some suggest 16 bit some 32bit Dithering?
*Some problems with PEOPS Soft plugin.
When I turn on the Frameskip to + or * the cpu usage is 100%
When I turn the VSYNC the CPU usage is 100% too.

100% cpu usage is normal, unless you are getting performance issues where there shouldnt be any dont pay it much attention. if you are looking for a real-ps1 like experience i suggest using psx instead of epsxe though.

What are your system specs?
ePSXe and plugin version used?
From P.E.Op.S Soft version history
29. July, 2006 Version 1.17 for SSSPSX
- Nagisa fixed the problem 100% CPU rate.
- Nagisa fixed vertical synchronous frequency.
Using v1.17 or 1.18b should avoid having that issue. (when it ain't normal, and probably only related to SSSPSX.. but who knows.. )
Using v1.18b (latest) instead of v1.18, should avoid some crashing issues.

AMD 3000+
2GB ddr 400mh RAM
ATI X1600 PRO
When I turn on the VSYNC and dithering the proccesor is at 100%
and games freezing for millisecond every 1 second.
pSX though works with Dithering (Always) and Vsync At less than 50%
at FULL SPEED and no lagging.
pSX is more fluid... but its compabillity sucks.
Can Pete rip the pSX internal GPU plugin? ;)
Epsxe team should also make their CDXA more compatible like pSX.

I thought psx's compatibility was near perfect. 0_)

It's not a matter of really using the 100% of the cpu. It appears as using it and it's normal so you shouldn't worry.
It won't matter what options you have enabled, it still will appear as using 100% as it's the way it was designed. You could even use winamp which consume cpu cycles and epsxe at the same time with fullspeed and no performance issues.
The problem is the configuration, spyware in your pc, a very heavy antivirus or something eating up your resources as epsxe can be played fullspeed in an athlon xp 2000.

AHA!!!
I've changed the audio, CD plugins to External SPU and Mooby 2.8
It works with Dithering and vsync PERFECTLY!! no lags.
Seems that the Internal core SPU of epsxe is Dependent on the GPU. oO
Tomb Raider 1 is working PERFECTLY (The hardest game to emulate ::lol:)
And the CDXA is workig too.

NEW TOPIC.
Is there a Dithering Shader maybe?
Or something close to the real dithering of a PS1/PS2
Please help, I want to make the emulator look closer to the PS1
or even pSX.
(Even if it's Uglier :D)

Use pete's plugins, there is an option to tick (color dithering):
- If using 32bit colors (you don't need to tick it).
- if using 16bit colors (you need too).

I've tried it all... including the Software plugin.
On the real PS1 there is HEAVY G-Shade Dithering.
Almost like AA but in 720x480 res.
What it does is adding pixels between two colors so they look like
they are connected...
If someone could make a shader to look close to a ps1 dithering.

wait a moment... g-shade dithering? Ps1 "antialiasing" is due to CRT tv's low resolution + scart analogic use (I think but I'm not an expert). So it may be a weird solution but the best thing for the realism is to use epsxe connected to tv instead of pc monitor.

Ahem NO...
Read this:
pSX emulator - VERY ACCURATE g-shade dithering on real ps1 (http://psxemulator.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=2681)
P.E.OP.S Soft plugin does this but not fully like pSX Emulator (Close) or a real PS1 (Fully).
I've asked the guys at P.E.OP.S (In their forums) to upgrade the Dithering effects on their next release.
PS.
I did connect my PC to a TV-LCD via RGB, And it's close but NOT like my real Sony.
PS1 HEAVILLY Dithers the picture like in the link.

Lol, it's the other way around. It's not the Psone adding pixels between the colors. They are like that. The emulator softens that, like a kind of filter so they look better, that's all.
Have you seen the pixeled floors in tekken? In a tv it's not so obvious but it is in a monitor as it shows the real graphics. In the hardware accelerated plugins you can use bilinear filtering so you don't see the pixels but a blend of color. The dithering is similar to that.
