Will save but no load

I am playing Digimon World 1, old game but haven't played it since i was 5 so thought i'd try it
And it will save
But after i've closed it down it won't load
I close by File/Exit
And the memory cards aren't read only
Please help

it means you haven't confirmed the memory card files

And how do i do that, it will load untill i've closed the window so it knows there is a memory card

the memory card is cached in ram, if you enable the logger,it will tell you memory card 1 and memory card 2 are not saved to disk, so just go into the memory card setting and save each card to a file (it'll read as open, but it works for both methods)

Please give me a step by step instructions i really want to play my game

i tried what you said it didn't work, thinking it was me been wrong but it just wasn't the solution, i just upgraded from 1.6.0 to 1.7.0 and its ok now
