FF9 cd 3 battle screen crash

My final fantasy 9 keeps resetting itself during battles and the battle screen also crashes during the fight against the stone pillar boss at the desert palace during disc 3,i tried changing bios, and i tried changing video plugings and tried changing emulators,i was using epsxe 5.2 up till the crash then i tried 6.0 then tried the new one 7.0 and i got no help from any of that,and it is still the same,please can someone help me get this sorted as i am near the end of the game.thanks

what are you playing from the disc or an image?

Im playing it from a iso file.

what format is it in? does the same thing happen when playing off the disc? i know you said you tried other emulators but you only listed different versions of epsxe, have you actually tried the game on something other than epsxe like psx or pcsx?

Well i gather that it is not the emulators it is the actualy game its *****ed.i tried lots of epsxe versions and they cant get past the one part and i tried pSX emulator and a few others and its on those parts also.Thanks for help anyways.
