Hi again,
I'm not asking for a bios;)
Just wanted to know, if anybody know which PS1-Bios-Version is the newest one?
Is it SCPH1001?
Or can vary the BIOS-version, with the same file-name?

Newest known version is 4.5 made in 05/25/00 (SCPH-101,102 models).
SCPH-103 model could be using newer one though...

Do note that using a different BIOS has a little or no effect on the compatibility, so I suggest that you use what you have (dumped from your PSX).

I know, but wanted to be always up to date^^
And its not a PSX, because a PSX is a PS2 with HDD/DVD-Write-Support; it's a Media-Centre-Edition
If you mean the old "PlayStation", you can call it PS/PS1/PSone
Crazy isn't it?:eyemove:

PS-X (PlayStation eXperimental) was a codename for the PlayStation while it was under development.
The name stuck after it's release though.

Hm, thats right, until the PSX (PS2 with RW support) was developed. After that the codename PSX for the old PS died...
look at the story of the PlayStation, it has a really interesting livestory^^
In the past, the "PS" had to be a SNES with CD-Support (official SNES-Addon)
But nintendo betraid Sony with Phillips and Sony made a own console...
What now? The Sony's Playstation is now a great rival of Nintendo and beats Nintendos console with better Hardware and exclusive Games (like GTA or FF):thumb:
What do we learn out nof it? Don't betray such great companys like Sony xD
