I want to use ePSXe on my arcade cabinet, but I will not be using iso/cue files on my hard drive. I have my PSX collection on CD and would like to use the CD's instead of ripping to my hard drives.

Is there a command line that would allow the following:

launch ePSXe
Open CD drive
Wait for close CD drive
Launch game

on exit:
open CD drive
exit epsxe

Is this possible with a command line or even a batch file?

Thanks in advance!
Dazz

epsxe cannot currently interact with the cdrom drive in that manner.

Thanks for the quick response. I was afraid of that being the answer. :( I think I can write a bat file that will open the drive and launch ePSXe.

Is there a command line for ePSXe that will run the game from the CD rom drive without having to select run CDrom?

Would -nogui be the command to load from CD?

Yes, -nogui is the right command.
Assuming you properly configured your CDR plugin of course.

Shendo, check the beta board, i need some feedback on my ideas regarding internal CD plugin features.
