When I try to run an ISO using this plugin it says: "Missing render-texture extension" then "No Pixel Format Available".
Is there a configuration I'm missing? I've played withit for a bit and have no luck so far.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a bunch.

some hardware specs wouldn't hurt either.

I read the troubleshooting thread already and it didn't answer my questions. I also just looked at the other link that you gave me and I didn't find anything either.
My specs are:
Intel core2 duo CPU @ 1.20 GHz
.97 GB Ram
I never had issues at all running PS1 games on my computer but there were a few (Madden 2000 for example) that locked up and I wanted to see if this emulator was better for it. So I don't think my specs are the issue but who knows.
I'm not a techie really so I'm not sure how to fix the issues and I was wondering if anyone else ran into them and had a fix.
Thanks

click the copy settings to clipboard in the OGL 2.9 settings and paste them here.
that'll atleast tell me the video chip.

Set shader effects completely off, and
Set Render to Texture to 1.
Set the Internal resolutions to 0 (low)
Set
Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 1
- Framebuffer effects: 2
- Framebuffer uploads: 2
if this still fails to work, you might need updated drivers for the video chip, or to use the D3D plugins

Wow, that did it!
Fantastic work Mr. Leonhart!!
I really appreciate the help. Madden doesn't hang up after the intro on this emulator.
You rule!
The play-by-play is skipping like crazy but i've noticed this a lot with other sports games so I'll probably just shut that off.

Does it do this with another plugin (e.g. Pete's OpenGL or software plugin) or emulator (pSX, PSXeven, etc)?
You might be getting skips because your puny integrated Intel card can't keep up with the more advanced OGL2 plugin.

it might not even render them with the 1.x plugins :)

mmm, pSX is not a (psemu pro)plugin based emu, just to be sure.

Well with Madden, the older plugins don't even get me past the intro cut-scene without hanging up. But with the new plugin I noticed it's not the play-by-play skipping, it's actually the gameplay itself. I even tried FFIX with the new plugin and it skipped as well so my computer doesn't really like the new plugin I guess or I need to play with the settings.
However, what I did was I used the new plugin to get me to the menu, then I saved the state, then I switched to an older plugin and loaded the state using the old plugin and now the gameplay is perfect without any skipping.
Probably an obvious fix to you wiley veterens but hell, I thought I was pretty cool for figuring it out:D

you wont find it anywhere like that. you need to configure it yourself because how it has to be configured depends on your system and personal preferances. there are stickies all over the place that have the information you are looking for and if it is too hard to understand then use something like psx which is by far the easiest psx emulator to setup and start playing games on.
