View Full Version : 1.70, didn't see it mentioned (FF9 and CC)

If this has been asked and answered, I apologize and would be happy to have this locked, I just have a simple question.

Has 1.70 resolved the infamous Final Fantasy IX and Chrono Cross issues that made it pretty much necessary to keep a copy of 1.52 around? Or is it still a good idea to have both?

one thing though, i have yet to play through either game fully, so while the problem areas that were present in 1.6.0 have indeed been fixed (ive gotten to those points during the beta testing but not much further), i cannot say for sure if either game has developed new issues with this release. so i would hang on to 1.5.2 just in case.

i doubt anything will come up with either game but you can never be certain with this sort of thing, you might fix one bug but you end up creating another one in the process. i would keep 1.5.2 saved on your drive or on a blank cd or something just as a precaution.
