How to use a usb game controller with epsxe

I am having trouble getting my usb game controller to work, can anyone please help?

1- First thing to do is to install/setup your usb controllers within the OS, so plug it in a usb port, wait for new hardware messages, and if it asks for driver (which is included in cd packed with the controllers), then just swap the cd and fellow the instructions.

2- check in your controle panel/game controllers for the installed ones, and test all the buttons/functions provided by the driver/software you installed.

3- the last step is a very easy one, just go to config/game_pad/pad1 or pad2; and map the desired buttons with the controllers ones, to do so ex: click the triangle in ePSXe config box than push the desired button on your controller to be assigned as the triangle.
