But I can't seem to activate analog in ePSXe 1.7.0, I have DualAnalog setup (using XBOX360 usb controller), and each time I start a game or bios I see in the upper right hand corner ANALOG OFF 1, how do I turn it on?

Try pressing F5

Thanks... I wish that was in the help.chm or somewhere in the gui... that did the trick.

Okay this is odd, I've configured the Xbox360 controller buttons in ePSXe before, and I just recently redid them, and for some reason the square, triangle, x, circle buttons don't really seem to respond at all in games. Circle seems to work occasionally but other than that its like I'm mashing on broken buttons here. The buttons I mapped for Start and Select work fine, pov works as digital and the analog sticks seem to work perfectly too. Tested the controller in other emus as well as other programs and it seems to work fine.

I suppose I should list my specs if this could help:
Windows Vista 64 Ultimate
2GB of Ram
Intel e8400
ATI 3870 HD video card

it is in the help file

We have created a system, where you can either use one digital pad and one mouse or one analog pad. You can change between those using the F5 key. We contacted the GPU plugin authors, so in the next version of their plugins, there should be a flag displaying the type of pad you have currently selected.
