Well... I have problems starting up my game.
I tested the bios, and it works fine with the sound and the video.
But when I insert my FFVII disc, nothing happens; and it just tells me that there is an error reading the disc.
I think this may have to do with my dvd-rom drive, but I am not sure.
HELP!!!!,

What cdr pluging you using?
try using pete's cdr pluging if epsxe's internal one is giving you trouble and make sure you configure it properly

I'm horrible at explaining this stuff but here goes...
In epsxe go to config>cdrom, here you will have to identify your drive letter and which plugin you are to use. Once done with that click on "configure" and identify the drive you are going to use and the read mode(use auto detect) you should be done now.
i could post a pic of my settings if that didn't help you

argh... it is not working... it still does the same thing, but now there is no error signal.
When I checked how it sees my drive, it shows 0:0:0 Toshiba DVD-ROM... maybe the 0:0:0 has to do something with it...

The zeros don't indicate a problem. They simply indicate the location of the drive ie primary or secondary ide channel etc.
As to the problem. The next thing I'd try would be to see if the emu can read disk 2 of ff7 correctly. That will rule out a scratched disk.

Another thing to do is create an ISO from the CD and try running the game with it.
