ok simple rules
1. KEEP IT ON TOPIC, if i see people talking about vista and how it sucks, i wont be going easy on them.
2. No Support, this is only for beta discussion, code submission for the developers, showing off the latest improvements. Nothing more, zip squat.
RULE 2 INCLUDES ASKING WHERE TO GET SVN REVISIONS!
Failure to comply with these 2 simple rules will result in warnings or being banned, so heed them.

wow, thanks for re-open this topic.
OK, I experience a nice fps boost with SVN 364.
(Look at the screenshots thread).
However, I have to use Peops Sound, because the sound doesn't seem ok for me if I use zeroSPU2.
(Setting process to low priority doesn't help)

Same conclusion, in games like Tekken IV, MK: A - +5 - 10 fps with latest svn (364). Sound works correctly for me with zeroSPU2 (tested with this 2 titles).

We would be interested in games working in SVN rev 363 and being broken in 364.Just to document what kind of compatibility hit that change has.Oh and please test properly,no speed hacks and crap

svn 364 was the first to achieve fullspeed in dqviii on the world map for me
(using the same config and pc for the last 100 or so svns)
suikoden V also got a boost from around 40 fps average to 60-65

it was a tad faster for me too.
refraction left a comment about it going from ~50 to ~100+ for him. but i didn't get anywhere near that speed increase in the testing i did.
maybe its a specific part of the game?
i think the speed increase i got was around ~5fps, but i didn't really do any extensive testing.
another thought is that the performance increase depends on the processor? intel vs AMD.
since both you and me have AMD, and ref has an intel; maybe thats affecting the results somehow...

i think i can mention these things to bring the devs into notice about what i found playing mk deception?
i did not notice any speed diff. like others mentioned in mortal kombat deception
also the end movies are still having trouble
the folliowing is just for info of devs
1) when scorpion uses spear, hell fire it is not visible.some other fighters also show the same prob.
2)texts in conquest mode and things in puzzle mode are unvisible so diificlut to play
thanks

@bositman
Titles tested so far with rev 363 and 364
Tekken IV, Virtua Fighter IV EVO, MK: DA/DC/A, Tekken Tag Tournament.
All of them work well, no stability change. Just speed increase (not in all, MK games almost no change).
@cmkannan - cmon ...HOW HARD IS READING? Its not a thread to post bugs in pcsx2, its a thread to disscuss svn/betas and that MK: D problems youre writing is in pcsx2 since 0.9.4...

Think of it as "revision". Every time the coder changes something in the beta version they update the "revision" number.
So the next revision will be 365, 366, 377 and so on.

No matter how many warnings, purple letters, flashing letters, singing letters he adds this will keep happening.

That's why threads like these will not ever last long unfortunately.

Naruto 3 no changes, still crashes in certain situation, no speed gain
Tekken 5 no changes in stability, speed increase (+5 fps)

i noticed from those games i stored on my hdd an ~10fps speedboost in FFX-2 Videos, they run almost with fullspeed (~44-48fps) at 2.6ghz :)
nothing got broken.
will test more games including FFXII later.

May 12th, 2008, 21:46
Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid 3, Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts 2, Contra - no compatibility and perfomance changes.
Tekken 4 +2 FPS
PS: Compared 351 to 365
REV 364
+3% stable increase in all this games. Strange, not as much as i thought

Well FFXII Pal went from needing core2duo 3.0 ghz to have it playable at 50 fps to 2.4 ghz ( speed hacks enabled on both cases ), so it is a massive improvement. Seems stable as well.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja is more unstable in menus, it never hang on the menus before 364 (i can at least say it's been working fine since 0.9.4) for example:
Hangs when buying collectors items.
100% emulation speed, yet awkard slowdown when the game does simple number operations, like add up and increase the amount of ryo (money) you get after a fight.
The same old hangs during fights when using specific character abbilities are still there.
Anyone else noting this issues?
Go buy some bonus items to see the first issue, and win a fight for the second one.
Speed wise, there might be a small gain (from 50% speed to 70%) where the game usually slows down, which is right after you win a fight and you see a closeup of your character, depending which character you are playing, the game will slow down a bit (Naruto for example).

Ok here's my 2 cents about 364:
Tales of the Abyss - No noticable new errors, great speed increase.
Breath Of Fire Dragon Quarter - No noticable new errors, still slow as hell
Devil May Cry 1 - A tad faster, otherwise the same
Dragon Quest - Introduction and Movies run full speed now, haven't tested much beyond
Final Fantasy XII - Notable speed increase, nothing broke afaik
Gradius - Way too fast - Pew Pew!
Grandia 3 - Ingame Cutscene show big speed increase. Some places still feel a bit choppy even tho FPS is almost full (sync issue?)
Kingdom Hearts - Full Speed Ahead, my german PAL version still has an movie issue though, The top/bottom bars in movie playback aren't actually black.
Persona 3 - Runs alot better. FPS in "slow" scenes (Assemblies, etc) has more than doubled. Game runs at max speed, including fights.
Shadow Of The Colossus - With a machine a bit more powerfull than mine it should be possible to reach constant 60FPS now. Very nice going.
Xenosaga I - Game gets overall speed increase. Runs better than on my PS2 now. Just some minor GFX gliches left to fix.
Xenosaga II - Faster, but still the least compatible of the 3.
Xenosaga III - Like Persona this game had very "slow" scenes for no appearent reason. These seem to be fixed now. (BTW Ref the battle summary is still fumbled *g* )
Further games i tried are FFX, Resident Evil 4, Rouge Galaxy, Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec and Zone of the Enders. ZoE crashed on gamestart, but i cant tell if it's because of the denormals fix. Haven't tried it much in recent SVNs. All other games behaved pretty much exactly like before. Only faster.

May 12th, 2008, 22:18

yea you can add this option in the speedhack dialog, with a notice that it brokes some games.

May 12th, 2008, 22:30
Suppose I should start making a chart of these speed hack options (Compatible/Incompatible) then for quick reference so that there would be less of a fluctuation of newbies claiming game X is broken while unwittingly enabling such speed hacks. Or would that lean too far into the unsupported beta field?

May 12th, 2008, 22:31
Well, i tried all my games on svn364. They all run faster but have the same bugs/glitches.
Did someone test metal gear solid 3 on it yet? Or any other game with problematic collision detection?
It'd be very important to know if/how those changed, and if svn365 made it better or worse ;)

interesting,
Sonic Heroes is now playable.
before it was Menus status, but i just tried it and now i can get in-game and play the game.
it wasn't the denormals that fixed it, but rather the IPU fix i think.
i tried it with an earlier SVN 354, and it works with that version as well.
maybe the beta-testers should test that game out and update the compatability list when they get the chance.
btw its weird though that i have the US version, and the text in-game is japanese.
when i play on my PS2 its in english...
guess PCSX2 identifies itself as a japanese console to the game?

edit:
i'm pretty sure the game is fully playable now.
was playing around with it, and the high-definition graphics make it look alot better than on the PS2.

i also noticed that phenomen in the Pal version of JAK3, its also in japanese, even the voice.
and JAK1 doesn't have any text, not even in the menu, i only get yellow boxes.
maybe because of missing japanese fonts?

362 vs 364
Narut0 Ultimate Ninja 3 and Narutumate Accel 2 both had messed up graphics in 364 during menus and ingame, in 362 still playable but limited, it looks great with high res textures though:)
Persona 3 and FES ran much better and faster in 364 from 47fps to 60fps+ ingame, no crashes, trying to beat the game now since all fmvs are watchable and the game itself is playable, good job.
edit: OMG, Tekken 4 ran @ 52-60fps ingame! also Onimusha Dawn of Dreams ran 60fps all the time! both with 364, still testing some more

Differences between 364 and 365 in:
Naruto 3 364: Missing textures in background 365: OK
Resdent Evil outbreak 2: 364 and 365 works the same way no differences
(Rogue Galaxy: 364: Missing textures in some polygons 365: OK) -----> i am not sure about this now trying it again
In these games almost no difference in speed maybe some faster 364 in rogue galaxy
Maybe you could add some code to tweak MSXCSR and VUMXCSR through npatches? making it game dependant.
P.D. changing MXCSR also to 0xffc0 makes some games work better, like Rogue galaxy where you gain the ability to walk ;)

yeh, the normal rounding method for the EE is "towards zero", the VU's i duno if its a negative round or towards zero. the official method is "chop" where it just removes the last few digits which cant be represented in a float.
so that would be right. but setting that for the EE makes the Grandia 3 menu fade out instantly, stuff in Guitaroo Man flickers in and out, n lord knows what :/
I hate floating points.

364 vs 365 -Game: MK: A -
Speed in 364 is between 87-100%(mainly 99-100) in 365 is as usual - 70-87 %
but this game is unplayable in 364 - when the match begins the only visible things are the power bars - e.g no chars , no stage , didn't try other games for the moment. Too bad cos the thing that was added in 364 is, according to the changelog is actually normal for the real PS2

Got it to do it again. I think I have figured it out. Load a game, it can even be Tony Hawk's Underground with GSDX 1.7. Close PCSX2. DON'T LET IT CRASH!. Load PCSX2 back up. Change the graphic plugin to GSDX 1.8 (or the beta svn). You get into the menu

after that spot, it tries reading from the memory card.
so maybe it has something to do with a corrupt memory card file.

sonic heros works on PCSX2 9.4 for me as well.

i guess somehow my memorycard became formated in a way that allows the game to play?

Sounds like a corrupt memory card.

Err......
SVN 364 was indeed faster, but:
AND THAT'S A BIG BUT!
There actually were stability changes. Most of you probably launched the game, saw the fps, played for a minute or two and moved on.
364 crashes after a while. Defined: the graphics and the game freezes (no control), but the sound keeps rolling (music).
Happened on Tekken 5 and Tekken 4 after random playing times. All more than 5 minutes.

tekken 5 after more than 5 minutes? i think you arent trying the same beta and you have speed hacks on, either that or you are using savestates which do kill things.
Tekken 5 doesnt show anything past the loading minigame, so its hardly random.

most-likely DDRRE is referring to the battle-hang that happens in persona 3.
sometimes when you attack an enemy, the game just hangs there and the music continues to play.
theres no way to regain control after that point, and you have to restart PCSX2.
thats been a long-known problem, and I checked and it still happens in svn364.
post up your memory card? LOL

i don't think its the sound plugin's fault because music in the background continues to play.

the newest version of the svn(365?) is pretty good in my opinion...
i tried FF 10 and i run all the time like
in game 60 fps(limited)
cut scenes 60fps
menus 60 fps
battles 60 fps
but do you guys have the sama prob..that if you go for exemple in into the house ,then there is a black screen and i takes about 5-15 sec
to open the next picture(inside the house)itīs the same allways when it switches picture..
damn this is hard to explain and i very bad at english :D

Bully:
364: hangs right after the first engine - rendered scene at the gate (not the pre-rendered car intro), but the scene itself seems faster than in 365.
365: goes past this point and is playable, but the frame couter is somehow wrong: shows 40-50 fps, but it looks like half of that in reality.

Well Bully FPS is bogus even if speedhacks is disabled... it says I'm getting 60+ FPS (speedhacks disabled) outside, yet it feels like 30 FPS. Indoors the speed seems fine tho.

want to report that persona 3 fes ntcs has some random crashes in the last months but they actually are not present in the same place, for example when you are talking to a person if you have been playing a long time before talking with a person there are possibilities that the game will crash but if you save or make a save state and restar the game and talk to the person or watch the scene that has crashed the emulator it run normal and you can finish the game without problems.

tekken 5 after more than 5 minutes? i think you arent trying the same beta and you have speed hacks on, either that or you are using savestates which do kill things.
Tekken 5 doesnt show anything past the loading minigame, so its hardly random.
Also Rama has played Persona 3 for a good few hours with it n said its great.
Wrong. SVN 364: I play team battle 8vs8, and vs mode battles. Sometimes I played non-stop for 30 minutes until I preferred moving to Tekken 4 due to the higher fps rate. I have also been able to launch and play the devil within minigame, but the fps rate was so low I quit the game. And I also use only one speedhack: EE/IOP sync.
Also, to get past the loading minigame, make sure you run the game via run-execute, and are using native resolution.

I wonder why some games are broken or affected badly by this and others are hugely improved speed wise. If the denormals closer to zero thingo is something that the ps2 actually does itself in its own coding, it makes no sense to me. Though I know next to nothing about this stuff.

Denormals are those numbers close to 0 that cannot be represented with a float because they are too small. If you put "denormals are zero", everytime a function obtains a denormal it just puts it as a 0.
The speed boost, as refraction himself said, is because there are probably a lot of functions that in some games keep orbiting around 0 because the result is a denormal and not exactly 0. So, by putting the "denormals are zero" condition, those functions think it's a 0 and exit. Thus the speed increase...
As for why some games are broken.. uh.. who knows XD Ref said it's probably something broken elsewhere, that influences compatibility once you put "denormals are zero".

my guess is that PCSX2 doesn't handle floating point values exactly like the PS2 yet.
so if a program multiplies/divides/adds..etc with them, then you get different results.
and sometimes its soo different that it breaks a game completely.
say a program is suppost to run an animation sequence until float X = 0.
With PCSX2, x might never = 0, but it might get close like 0.000000012.
thats still not completely 0, so having PCSX2 except only 0 would break the program.
but having it round 0.000000012 to 0 would allow the program to work.
and i guess the speed benefit when the rounding is disabled comes because PCSX2 dosn't have to perform the rounding algorithm.
thats just my guess on it...
hockland
May 15th, 2008, 19:09
Ah that makes perfect sense. You`d get infinite loops in some cases which would break some games. Since some conditions are never occuring. Cool yes that makes definate sense in my head now. Thankyou :).

hi, about games (intro) or (nothing)is very stanger because the program doesnīt reads more lines in new svn versions, this problem is caused for PEOPS? iso virtual reader of pcsx2 ?or counters? other question is the ps2 bios completely right?...otherwise directx sdk and all directx interfaces, doesnīt gives amazing graphics, only works right with games with simples architectures and structs, like final fantasy(strategy game, static game without interactions, is like pure iup game)when the game has hard strucs very hights in pcsx2 looks bad like medal of honor, or god of war: this game has hights advanced graphics and great structs shadders because the bosses are very longer and flexibles and softs shadders in every time, all is action 3d interaction with muchs film effects and 1080Š cameras and 3person looks too, i thinked that microsoft is very closed about to cover hight graphics with directx sdk or nvidia, seem me that microsoft doesnīt wants loose microsft games fans or something like that, because console games are best than microsof games.

VU skip is finally playable(!), and does not consist of just raising the FPS but making the game stutter like hell.
Seems that if the developers crew would concentrate a bit on this game as much as they did with FFX and DMC, we could get some serious performance gains. Until now the game has only benefited from general improvement in the emulator's efficiency, but if some optimizations would be directed specifically to Tekken 5, we could see 60/60 in no time.

DDRRE, don't make requests.
and judging on your pics you don't even have GSdx set up correctly, if you use 1270x1270 internal resolution you don't get the black lines.
well actually that might be just for tekken 4...

Anyway, 1270x1270 does remove the vertical stripes, but Tekken 5 won't run on anything else than the native resolution (unless you're using a new memory card).

interesting,
Sonic Heroes is now playable.
before it was Menus status, but i just tried it and now i can get in-game and play the game.
it wasn't the denormals that fixed it, but rather the IPU fix i think.
i tried it with an earlier SVN 354, and it works with that version as well.
maybe the beta-testers should test that game out and update the compatability list when they get the chance.
btw its weird though that i have the US version, and the text in-game is japanese.
when i play on my PS2 its in english...
guess PCSX2 identifies itself as a japanese console to the game?

edit:
i'm pretty sure the game is fully playable now.
was playing around with it, and the high-definition graphics make it look alot better than on the PS2.
see screenshot.

And not only that, but now the enemies on the world map doenst fall trough the floor! (same bug as in MGS3).

Actually that moment is where for me at least the game has always hung. Even back in the 0.94 I would get the exact same DMA error and the same videofreezing but the sound still continuing. I posted about it in the screenshots thread back in December.
Bug encountered in the area with the first enemies freezes the game, yet the music and sound effects still play (DMA error:7504fd80)
I don't know if this is what ref meant by getting farther in the game though (aka past the swamp area), but it has always done that for me since gabest got his gs plugin more stable for mgs3 back many gsdx updates ago.

I tried the last official svn 351. My machine is pretty weak (athlon 4000+, 1GB RAM, GF 7600 GS), but with speed hacks and VU skip enabled I reach full speeds in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Okami. The problem is that there is this blinking, I don't know if you guys have this one too, when enabling VU skip. While disabled - there is no blinking, but the speed drops alot. So this is a question, not a request. Is there any way to clear this blinking problem, or should we wait patiently for another svn build?
Mkilbride2588
May 17th, 2008, 10:11
SVN can't really fix that, it's a GSDX issue, and instead of blinking, in ZeroGS you get warped movement. Overall, that'll happen with VU skip. Unavoidable really, you're trying to make the game not play some Frames of the scene, so graphical corruption will occur. Try Inter-lacing though, you may get lucky(F5)

The vuskip works better in recent SVNs, 362 and up I may add. Might even give some comparision vid sometimes if I'm not too lazy. It usually gives a 1/3 boost (33.33%, ie. 30 fps becomes 40 fps or 40 fps becomes 53 fps etc.) which you easily hear if listening to the rate of the music for example and it doesn't blink (maybe still for some games though) or get "stuttering" movement but that depends a bit on the game how nicely the movements look like due to how it's coded, some it looks just as good with it on, some you'll notice the movements although it gets a bit faster doesn't quite look as smooth (Tekken is a good example due to the nice and smooth movements feeling in this game).

Yes, the speed boost with VU skip was impressive and that is why I wanted to ask if there was a way to stop the blinking. But from what you said I'll be waiting for the new svn build and try it out when it comes out.

Speed hacks aren't enabled. I know what ref wants. I would never post anything in any of the beta threads with any of the rama's hacks enabled. That totally ruins the purpose of these threads, and would cause ref to potentially waste time looking bugs that don't exist.
I'm just mentioning that that point in mgs has been reachable since 0.94 and gsdx after the post processing was removed from mgs3.

For me the amount of bloom reduces when running in higher internal resolutions (in GSdx). Still, obviously there's something incorrect, probably a GSdx problem.
I think I read somewhere it uses bloom to hide it's hideous textures.
No, it's a stylistic choice of the developers. Btw. the game doesn't only use simple bloom but also offers eye adaptation.
Anyway, up until now I always waited for beta versions to be released on the main page. But I think it's time for me to look into how I can compile the SVNs myself.

The bug reporter will help to locate in source this problems?, if yes, i'l try to use...
Use 368 version and 369...
the problem is you are using speed hacks, if you bothered to read the sentense at the top of the speedhacks options it says "this will cause instability". They arent meant to work ok all the time, if they cause problems, turn them off and leave them off.

Hi, I have tested nba 2k8 with 369 and, at difference of previous version, now are present graphical error (instead of players there are square and crazy figure). The people around the court there isn't, there is only the public of the palace. With gsdx dx10 there isn't also the public of the palace. HELLP!!!! Excuse for my english!!!

Why not test the game yourself? I seriously dont understand why people make posts like this. It takes you less time to go and test the game out yourself and finding out how the game works in the svn, than posting for someone else to tell you what the results of their testing was.
And yay 400 posts :p.

Refraction, sorry, i play with and without speedhacks.
with speedhacks crash the game, without you can pass, but has the blinking problem too without the speedhacks.

Just wanna report the issue in FFX at Macalania Forest where characters would twinkle or show some graphic corruption (check here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd97_ew6H5U)) is fixed as of svn 368. :)
And as previously reported Shadows of the Colossus appears to be playable now too in latest svn with fixed character SPS.
Great stuff, keep up the great work. :)

digital devil saga 1 is not playable yet on the latest svn 369, it hangs randomly and the screen flickers but can be resolved by changing interlace mode, i've tried all cdvd plugins and it still hangs at random spots, no speedhacks enabled, with and without denormals. intro fmvs and cutscenes work though.
and i would like to report that Maximo Ghost to Glory is better than ps2 perfect now, mainly because of the hires textures:)
Also, in shadow of the colossus, when ingame the screen will get very bright then suddenly everything will fade to black in a second then return to normal then repeat. It's kinda distracting especially when fighting those gigantic bosses. Maybe savestates are causing it.
Bully runs fast now, and actually displays the correct fps. Im getting 40-50fps outside the school and mostly 60fps indoors with int res bumped upto 1280x1024, nice:)
edit: SOTC over bright screen caused by native int res, set it to 1024x1024 or higher, solved! 2nd boss defeated! i believe this game is fully playable now, excellent work ref, thanks

Is that flickering occuring with or without VU skip on?
Cause that sounds alot like VU skip. Specially since the interlace mode change fixed it.

By flickering I guess you mean the up and down jumping screen effect which is common for GSdx, some people interpret "flickering" as twinkling screen with black frames between or something I guess. Just thought I'd mention.

i guess im one of those people, yes the "flickering" is indeed those twinkling black frames and it makes me kinda dizzy:) DDS 1 is not playable yet anyway, and i dont really like it, just tried it out and reporting.

Reporting about Dragon Quest VIII: the game is full playable with 0.9.5 svn 368!
Black Cidadel bug is gone. I've beaten the game just 2 days ago. The only remaining problem is the "false fps": the game display 60 fps (or more) but the real fps is like 20, or 30. But its a rare bug, and not a critical one.
Besides that, the game run most of the time on full speed (55 ~ 60 fps).
But it would be nice if we can choose denormals as a hack... it gives a huge speed boost to DQ8 with no side effect :)

Digital Devil Saga 1 is playable. It's just really slow, even on a fast system, probably due to emulation issues.

i tried some ssx games i have, they all work except for the first one, all menus / movies run at full speed
ssx (ingame): i gave this game just a couple of minutes, found out that it doesnt go over the intro without ee/iop hack, hangs shortly after getting ingame, until then fps seemed to be very nice
ssx tricky (playable): the only one with playable status, though it appears to hang in the middle of tracks sometimes, speed hacks give a boost to fps and dont lower stability (this counts for the rest too), fps 40-50
ssx 3 (ingame): highly playable, but hangs a lot usually within 5-30 minutes, fps goes down below 5 when there are all players on the screen during a race, fps 30-50
ssx on tour (ingame): suffers from random fps drops and hangs within 2 minutes, fps 30-50

Already said, but Gran Turismo 4 is still darker in svn 369. Oh! In this last svn's it has speeded up about 10-15 fps! Now the tracks that don't crash are playable at real speeds :)
Thanks for your efforts, keep going :)

New record!!!!
Tekken 5:
svn 372, NON VM, reaches 67fps (It gets limited afterwards to 60fps of course) in the Final Stage 2 arena. Whenever there are punching effects, fps drops to.....
50 FPS!!!!!!
a few notes:
I was using the "custom VU-SKIP" code, raises FPS by 10-20 without looking too choppy.
res: 1680x1440, dx9
Until now I've been using the VM version, but it seems the non-VM version is actually faster here!

meh...
so far so good.
(tekken5 - thanks cottonvibes)
except from speed issues, only plugin-related bugs plague the perfect emulation of this game:
(crowd not appearing in Urban Jungle arena - might be emu or might be plugin bug)
Gsdx:
1. glow effect in some arenas is incorrectly implemented, appears as garbage on screen (ok in ZeroGS)
2. Vertical stripes appear on the screen, they can also be seen in the Burning temple arena even if the resolution is set to 1270x1270 (ok in ZeroGS)
3. Weird (Z-buffer maybe?) errors: some models "bend" when idle or in cutscenes. (ok in ZeroGS)
ZeroGS:
Emulates the game perfectly, except for the loading mini-game. But pretty damn slow!
cottonvibes
May 20th, 2008, 01:25
DDRRE, you didn't even mention the game you're talking about.
and "Vertical stripes" can usually be fixed by using native resolution.
its most-likely not a real bug.
if ZeroGS emulates the game perfectly, then it looks like all errors are just GSdx errors, and this should be posted in the GSdx thread since it has nothing to do with the PCSX2 svn.
DDRRE
May 20th, 2008, 01:30
It seems the only errors the emu does are not rendering the crowd at the Urban Jungle arena....
The arcade history mode doesn't work perfectly, and that's clearly an emu problem, but no one plays that anyway :D
p.s. I'm talking about tekken 5, and I fixed the above comment. I've been playing it on pcsx2 all day long :X (much more fun than the ps2... its amazing how many detail is available that just wasn't used in the original ps2 res)
regarding the vertical stripes: they appear only in gsdx, in any resolution (including native) except 1270x1270 or other wacky combinations, that make them "disappear to the naked eye", because they reappear when post-processing effects occur, which process the entire screen and clearly shows the stripes were there all along.

i'd like to report that God Of War is now looking a whole lot better.
i managed to take a nice shot in-game.
most of the time you just see a "green screen", but if you move around, you're able to see the characters.

SVN 373: No real fix for MGS 3. Still freeze on the same place. But, i think there was a cinematic at this point of the game...
