hey i just got this and stuck on mgs. I was able to fix the graphics up and stuff but i was wondering if the graphics are unavoidably pixelly. The sound is also echoing, and when i was getting shot at the screen went all white.

I have a top pc - 1.7ghz with a geforce2 card so what settings should i change to improve it (if it can be).

Also the page given for the cheat plugin pec doesn't work, where can i get it, or possibly another compatible one.

For the sound problem...
Why don't you try the latest Pete's DSound plugin. Set it with High Compability Mode with SPU IRQ turned on?

What graphic plugin that you use?

also filter setting 1 works perfectly well too ;)

just make sure you have PC FPS calculation turned ON in the special game fixes.

and Accurate CD-ROM timing turned OFF (seems to improve sound a little in pete's Dsound under windows 2000/xp)
