gran turismo 2 problem

i just tried playing gran turismo 2 with adripsx but it won't work... pcsx works good with the fps's ar not so good in races and epsxe emulates only cd 1... but that one perfectly with nice graphics and very good speed... i was just wondering how come adripsx doesn't support it... maybe it's my fault?

Adripsx can, in some cases, have better speed than epsxe, but not as good compatability. However, not to worry, Gran Turismo 2 will work on Epsxe. You will need to use epsxe version 1.5.1 and enable accurate cdrom timing and subchannel support in the cdrom configuration. Also, if you are using the eternal spu plugin, make sure "Update before accessing register" is unchecked. If not, epsxe may hang when you choose "start game" from either disc (this happened to me).

Since it is still on topic, I might as well post my gt2 problem as well. For some reason I cannot save to a memory card in gt2 when using epsxe. I have made sure the mem card files are empty and I have tested them with ff7 (they work fine in ff7). The game just keeps telling me that there are not enough empty blocks. Does anyone know what is wrong?

I'm using epsxe 1.5.1 for Gran Turismo 2. Take note that this is not the latest version.

first: thanx for the hint... gt2 works fine now...
second: i tried saving to the memory card and it worked fine... maybe you should download the emu again and unzip two new memcards to your memcard directory... maybe the old ones are broke or something... when i first saved something gt2 formatted the memcard... you could also use a prog like psxgameedit to clean up your memcards...
