Something which I frankly think is bad planning

Okay, so on the Button Config screen, whenever the button A on the keyboard is pressed, it enters Auto Negotiation mode. This is regardless of whether or not you're trying to set a key. So when you're trying to set something to "A" on the keyboard, it goes into Auto Negotiation mode! This is really annoying. Is there any way it can be fixed?
