i cant seem to get planet half lifes forums to load so i was wondering if anyone has ever run into a bug in the level we've got hostiles. when i get to a room with a bunch of containment team soldiers about midway though the level, there is an elevator that you are supposed to take up after killing the enemys. its like the 2nd or 3rd elevator in the level, you get into this room by riding a converyor belt and then jumping over a gap in the second floor of a previous room. in the same room with the elevator you can see the conveyor belt you got on but your looking at it from above.
when i get in this elevator, it begins to go up as i press the button, but almost immedietly stops and i begin to take damage from nothing for some reason. i cant move or anything i can only aim with my mouse and i can get the game to go any further it just totally locks up and i eventually get killed. im running on windows xp and up to this specific point the game runs fine. does anyone know how to fix this bug?
