Jeez fivefeet, Look how much your dual core CPU makes a difference in the overall score. As our clocks are exactly the same :P. This has so far been the only application that has really made me "Desire" a new CPU. I need to look at current software and CPUS and see if upgrading my 3800+ single core is finally justified. I wasnt able to justify it 6 months ago. So I'll look again. It seems to make a massive difference in overall performance/score. Of course then there are the graphic scores which are probably the most relevent for the next year or so.
((2.4 Ghz))
I love posting fillrate results simply because I remember when we were struggling for 4,000 multitexture fillrates. And then the 16 pipe beasts got released and then later 24 pipeline cards. And just seeing SLI fillrates makes me whonkers. I wont even bother posting the 3dmark05 results as its been vertex setup limited so that I have been stuck @ 11,000 points since I got my 7800GTX last year and the 7900GTS havent changed it at all. ((these benches were taken at stock 7900GT clocks of 500/1530))
