for the good PC, try using OGL2 with the nice preset---throw in some shaders if you want. definitely use Eternal (not lite) for that.
for the crappy one, try OGL with the Nice the preset, and see how that bodes. you may want to use Eternal Lite on that one.
if you're having gameplay glitches and such, try a different emulator.
