First I would like to say that I am _REALLY_ sorry for bumping this almost three year old topic. I felt it would be better to post in an already created thread than create my own.

I am having the same problem as the thread poster, except it happens ALL the time. PCSX is the only emulator I could get to run VH2, ePSXe kept freezing before it could hit the title screen. Is there any workaround to this?

My config:

Kazzuya Software Rendering Driver 1.3 (GPU)
Kazzuya DirectSound Audio Driver 0.6 (sound)
Segu Direct Input Keyboard Driver 0.3 (controllers)
Mooby2 CD Disk Image Driver 2.8 (I'm running the CD image directly from my hard drive...Same directory as PCSX)

Old piece of crap Dell laptop (enough said, no need to post the horrid specs, but if needed I can post them).
