Yes, i think cause i follow the steps on the user manual of my video card.
First i download and install the new AGP driver from www.sis.com (cause in my device manager the AGP controller manufacturer is sis). Then after installing the updated driver for AGP controller. I restart my computer and ther i uninstall the old GF2 MX400 driver in the device manager. By clicking the video adapter it shows my old graphics card and double-clicking it shows its properties and then i've click the uninstalled driver and then restart it.
After it restarts i've shut it down and unmount the old graphics card and mount the new GF FX5500 card and connect my monitor. Then i start my computer and install the driver of NVIDIA(universal driver). But when i run dxdiag i test all 3d graphics and it said that there are no problems found. I save the log and it shows the specs, but im searching for the pixel/vertex shader 2.0 and there are no logs on what shader it detects. I don't even see the word pixel/vertex shader in the log. What will i do? Do i need to uninstall the whole drivers and re-install it? Please help and thanx for your reply.
