Just follow my lead and I hope that you will got it running decently(i got it working both on 1.5.2 and 1.6.0 version
and I preffer to use 1.5.2 because the SPU IRQ hack if enabled stays checked everytime).

1.) Make an image of the game with Alcohol 120% with Playstation profile and select .ccd option.
2.) Use Mooby2 disk image driver cd plugin and use these options:
Play one cd track and stop,move CDDA volume bar to the max,Enable subchannel data.

3.) Use eternal spu plugin with default settings.
Go to the Config-->Sound and tick all 4 boxes (the last one is SPU IRQ enable it too).

4.) Now click File-->Run CDROM and browse to your CTR image,the game should work now.
