composite <<<< svideo < scart
I use a scart cable for my DC and I could easily spot the difference when compared to composite. Too bad my cable ain't that good because it doesn't put the image on the screen correctly, I'm having a black border at the right of my screen, so I'm still looking for a new DC scart cable with audio out.
I'm still looking for a good VGA box as well, just for the experience. I guess that it's with 2d that it might look as nice as it's supposed to, right Samor? You once told me about the skies in Shenmue, and I know that the skies in Shenmue 1 are 2d, while the ones in Shenmue 2 are textures.
Btw, nice collection you have Industrian, especially those rare games you own. I'm with you guys when it comes down to those boxes. They used to sell every game with a cool box you could display, nowadays you would have to buy a limited edition to get one. I'm glad I've got some nice boxes of the FF games, see picture below. I also still have a box of Dungeon Keeper 2, and all my GB and most of my NES boxes. I threw away a good bunch of my NES boxes because they were completely trashed, just like some manuals, which I did keep. Some time ago I was reading some of them again, and I noticed how I used to colour the images ^^
And what about the PAL cube? Is it composite only?
Oh and before I forget, please keep warez out of this thread, this is for your legit collections only. Pictures are a must, obviously
