Nintendo's support for Europe is piss-poor by the way. Also with the NDS. 4 out of the 10 games I have are US releases, of which 2 aren't out in Europe (yet).

They HAD an advantage of half a year in Europe, because of Sony's delayed PSP release, but they didn't make use of it at all - by the time they finally started releasing some games here the PSP was already out. I don't know the sales figures in Europe, but I wouldn't be surprised if the PSP's already outselling it here, regardless how well the NDS might do in Japan.
I know. They wouldn't release a crippled Gamecube in America, why do it in Europe? I know they used that stupid "Europeans use SCART" line, but that's BS. At LEAST give us S-Video. As for "480p is for NTSC only", how about leaving us with at LEAST the option of Digital AV Out and maybe, just maybe, a developer would have made a game with 576p. Nintendo only care about Japanese gamers, because that's where the majority of their money is made.

I once used a VGA Adapter (with hilarious Engrish on the box) for my PS2. The image quality ruled. Now i use S-Video and Dscaler, it's even better.

I'll be aiming for a widescreen monitor as well, but that costs money. But with two consoles on the way, a much required laptop and general cost of living, I don't see how I can fit it in just yet.
