Do we really need a PS2 emu?

I don't think we need one.
Think about this: why do we love PS1 emus?
Because it enhances the graphics of games,I don't see any other reason(except from the fact that everyone doesn't have a PS2).
Now,about the PS2,does the graphics really need to be enhanced?
I don't think so.
But why does everyone wants a PS2 emu then? Maybe because they just want it to be emulated, but the only point in emulating the PS2 is for people who don't own one.
I have a PS2 and games on it looks much better than any of my PC games,OK,maybe it would look a bit better in high resolutions, but not something that is worth the hardwork of an emu team,I personnaly think that emu authors shouldn't even waste their time with PS2 emulation(and even GameCube).

P.S.:If someone could emulate Xbox really soon,it would be cool, that would make M$ fail
