Hmm... well I much prepared the earlier micromanagement and latter macroing that Starcraft involved, and even into the late game, when you got your pop on 200/200, it wasnt as easy as just doing a massive drop or just send them all in... sending them in small groups all over the enemy base and expansions was much more effective, just to give an example. Not to mention that, IMO Strarcraft is very well balanced.

And that was an example of what you should NOT do with your units.... maelstrom + psi storm and reavers would kill that in the blink of an eye

(or bloodscourge and lurkers, or swarm and zerglings... or even just plain tanking supported by vultures

)... that was the magic of starcraft, you needed to use almost every unit on your arsenal, and keep switching constantly... going with a single unit would be easily countered on the higuer levels
