Also to add more to the advertising crap...4.7GB is the theoretical compacity of a single layer DVD, but since DVDRW requires additional space for TOC, and other UDF file system requirements ..you'll never get your 4.7 worth..

Well..they can get away with it since they do not specify the type of data your recording. For example...If you filled the disk with nothing but CD quality audio, you may very well get your 4.7GB worth (or close), but if your putting multiple file types..well...forget the 4.7
